Joe Smith

Post#1 » by Godfather_Jay » Tue May 6, 2008 12:53 pm

I have been reading the threads here and on the Celtics board and no one has been mentioning Joe Smith at all in analysis of the Cavs-Celtics series. It's like he's still an afterthought in the trade.

The guy has been manning up and doing a lot of little things. You might not notice a ton in the stat lines, but he has been filling a role and playing well. His minutes went up during the Wizards series because of his solid play. Let's hope it continues.

Insightful post GJ. I hear what you're saying. He also seems to be one of the first that posters are willing to get rid of. I'm guilty of the overlook too. What he does is the come-to-work and do what's needed crap that doesn't get the glamour. I like seeing him come off the bench and hope Ferry's smarter than us and finds a way to keep him.

I would like to keep him as a solid bench contributor. I like what he has to bring to the table.
