The only way we get the #5 is if we trade our expirings for their bad contracts. No way they part with production(as little as it may be) and their # 5 without getting rid of Jerome James,Jared Jeffries, and Quentin Richardson.

I was juts guaging the value of somethings. Last week I asked whether or not you would do Zach for Wallace straight up and most replied no[which is crazy imho]

Im a little surprised watching the Cavs that more fans would not want Zach Randoplh for Wallace staright up. Zach is going to get you 20-10 and anyone can see the Cvs just dont have the second scorer that Zach would bring.

Some may argue Ben's been as good defensively as Zach would be offensively. Then throw in Zach's personality issues, and that's why fans wouldn't want him. Plus, I'm not positive but, does Wallace's contract expire before Randolph's?

Ben has 2 years left at $28.5 million

Zach has 3 years left at approx $48 million

I just dont think Zach Randolph is worth the risk...if he could just play basketball and stay in the hotel and not get into trouble he would be fine but he's just too much of a risk....although the cavs do need to get rid of Ben...if they can.

I'm not a huge Zach Randolph fan, the guy plays no D and is a black hole.

But if we can get the #5 pick and him for BW and the #19, I think you have to make that trade.

Lots of talent available at #5..

If the #5 or wherever you guys pick happens to be o.j. mayo, you have a deal. Most likely he is going #3 though and in no way would i want zach if we couldnt bring in o.j., rose or beasley.

Ben Wallace, Joe Smith and Eric Snow for Zach Randolph, Jamal Crawford and Jared Jeffries...

fair trade if you ask me.

If you threw in pick 19 I would do it. Im giving you a LOT of offense--enough that could easily get you to the finals next year. Your taking longer term salary but I need something to replace the talent and pick 19 is reasonable.

We want no part of randolph or jeffries unless it includes the SWAP of our picks and only if we like who is available.

We don't want any of those guys in that trade, all we care about is betetr draft position if we like who is available, namely o.j.

We arent begging to take on New Yorks garbage unless there is something we really want. If they cant supply what we want, then no deal.
