LeBron James Appreciation Thread- Bravo, bravo.

LeBron James has earned another fan after that Game 7 performance. Many of you know I bashed the guy at times, but WOW. I have not seen a performance like that from a kid that young since Jordan or Kobe.
He's not on their level yet, but he's getting there very quickly. It's time to move some pieces and get a true 2nd tier star to play with him. I know you've tried, but once you've got that you're going to the Finals for the next 10 years maybe.
Huge performance, amazing player. Bravo! With maturity and playing defense the way he played against Pierce on that one steal consistently, he will be unstoppable. In no way does that loss fall on him, without him you don't even make the playoffs.....let along a game 7 of the conference semifinals.
Time to blow up the team again, and just make another deal to see if it works. No matter who you have, if you have LeBron James in the east you're a competitor for the finals. He's that good.

One of the hardest things as a basketball fan is to see teams lose close series. I wanted KG to win the series since I've been a fan of his since 98 all stars, but once the game was over, it was hard.
Really great job LeBron. An amazing player, he just needs a better team around himself. Well, actually, he needs a good second option. I really hope Cavs make one of those shakeup trades for next season. Once they have two good options, the scrubs will improve
I applaud to LeBron and the effort, sad to see him be done for the season.

Now it's time for FERRY to step it up. Make a smart draft pick, and take advantage of the huge expirings we have. I'd prefer to keep Gibson and West, but he has to be willing to do whatever it takes to get Lebron a true sidekick STAR.

And for the record, Lebron's preformance today was phenominal. Maybe everyone in the media will stop bashing him now.

Hey I'm a Wizards fan, and I have only seen three players in my lifetime (at least lifetime I can remember) dominate in the way LeBron James can. Jordan and Kobe Bryant.
I'm talking talent level, not accomplishments. Jordan obviously will trump them all until they get 6 rings as the star player of their team. An almost impossible accomplishment for either player.
But James has more of a chance than Kobe, due to age alone. I must say though, that one steal from Pierce James had, gave me flashbacks of Jordan. If James can play D like that on every possession, much like Jordan did, then he has a chance to get those titles.

How come? He choked, he didn't win, that's an extra bashing material...

Lebron just needs a consistent number two (side kick) with him -- it's up to Ferry to get that guy this summer -- no excuses the CAVs have the ability this summer with expirings.

He did the most, with the least, against the best
and took them to 7 games and very close till the very end...

Far from it, he dominated, he carried his team, and none of them could back him up. Can't ask for anything more from a 23 year old #1 pick than what he has give his team.
I respect him even more today, because the refs actually called a solid game. And when he realized fouls weren't bailing him out, he dominated EVEN MORE. Wow, still in awe.

Well, he did save the worst game of his career for game 1 when his teammates put him in a position to win. Game 7 is balanced out by game 1.

Regardless, game 7 is a performance I won't forget by the guy. One for the books IMO. That steal/dunk from Pierce? Classic.

I'd like our chances in a 7 game series.

The Hawks wouldnt score 60 points on the Cavs, let alone have anyone remotely close to being able to stop LeBron, and the rebounding differential would be through the roof. You must be joking. There is no one outside of Atlanta that would think the Hawks could beat the Cavs in a 7 gamer.

I wouldn't disrespect the Hawks that badly. They are a really solid young team. Bibby and company really gelled nicely, one thing people fail to realize about them is that team is loaded with extremely talented youth. They aren't as savvy as most vets to know every single move on a given night from a team.
But give them a 7 game series? They have more than enough talent and depth to overwhelm a team once they catch on to their moves. I could see Horford, Johnson, Smith and Bibby taking the Cavs to 7. Now if LeBron James played with the same intensity as he played with yesterday? He gets almost any team down 3-0, and a game 7 isn't even an option. Problem with James so far in my opinion is purely his consistency of intensity. He obviously doesn't have help, but Jordan turning up his intensity is what drove him to 6 titles. Not just Pippen.
