To give the Cavs Forum a reason to feel better about not being in the Finals.
Well look on the bright side. At least we lost in style.
No arguing with that.

Well then I guess the "NO KNICKS" thread is doing it's job..#1knickfan wrote:I haven't seen the proposals on these boards
L&H_05 wrote:Look, the purpose and intent of the thread was not to initially piss off the Knicks fans... We really have no bone to pick with the Knickerbockers nor their fans... However, a couple seasons ago Knicks fans were all over this board suggesting that we should go after Marbury, Francis etc...
As of late it started up again... Zach Randolph being the main subject of discussion... The "NO KNICKS" thread is something that is used to deflect Knick fans from coming over here and starting up threads about trades that ends up with us taking Zach Randolph, or even worse, Marbury..
Knick fans want cap relief... They know LBJ needs a talent upgrade, and automatically come to the conclusion that this is a perfect trade match.... It's NOT !!!!

LBJ will opt out and look to move into the tri-state area. $100 mill clause from nike. not to mention he's best friends with jay z.
once he leaves this franchise is back to being irrelevant.

and if he doesnt, the two new york franchises will continue to be irrelevant
and the nyc clause is funny because legally i dont think it can exist - and i dont think the nba would allow a shoe company to favor one team over the rest
