I swear if the Cavs somehow waste their MLE on this guy....

He was pretty decent when he was playing; he'd be an okay pickup for the minimum if he's healthy.

No way does he cost the MLE. He's just looking for a chance to play again. But I agree that he was productive when he was with the Cavs.

I still remember that game a few years back where he had scored like over 20 pts in a game and everyone was like "Whos Robert Traylor?!?!"

I saw him play in Puerto Rico and also got the 411 on the guy. He was great in the championship game (in waaay better shape than he ever was in the NBA, catching alley-oops and everything), but the guy was apparently supporting his brother-in-law's drug dealing business in Minnesota. As talented as he may be, this guy is bad news.

I'd be pissed if i were a cavs fan. The fact that the organization is even trying him out is pathetic...seriously. Tractor Traylor has never made an impact on an NBA team...what is the point of bringing him in for a tryout?!

This is nothing more than a favor for Traylor and his agent. Its summer league. Who cares?

Agreed, just to get him some exposure, and IF he has anything left we get first shot at him. OT, I just thought about the commercial with him and Drew and the Big Mac, funny stuff.

The Cavs ended the year with Lance Allred on the roster. Traylor can't be any worse can he?

The MLE comment was made by a write who had just finished freebasing cocaine however.
