how about mo instead of redd?

Post#1 » by Redbeardwirc0830 » Tue Jun 10, 2008 6:28 pm

would you guys be more interested in a trade for mo? i think he would be better on the cavs and he is also younger than redd.

we would probably offer you mo and gadz...we would probably want your #19 pick and like snow and joe smith or something

I would do Mo+Gadz+filler for #19+expirings.

I don't think the Cavs will get a player as good as Mo Williams with the 19th pick. Gadz is horribly overpaid but would be a decent 4th big.

If we went in that direction a decision would have to be made with Delonte. I wouldn't just let him walk for nothing, but either he or Boobie would have to be traded.

Delonte brings some defense Mo doesn't though..we would have to make some follow up deals.

Personally, I prefer Delonte over Mo. I still believe that we should be trying to get Redd in Cleveland.

I too prefer West over Mo due to defense and salary.

I would've said yes a few years ago but with Delonte and Daniel Gibson I don't see enough room for so many combo guards.

Redd would be a very nice addition to the Cavs. Mo, not so much.

Mo is the better player, but Delonte is the better fit for our team because he playmakes.

And I would rather have Redd also.

I would never consider trading our #19 pick for Mo Williams unless we had already bought (traded for) another one. Mo is a locker-room cancer. And although he is a pretty good pg...he is not a classic pg, he is a combo, and he plays no defense and has poor shot selection.

We have West and Gibson, who are both younger, both are cheaper, both have more upside, and both are good in the locker-room. No need for us to down-grade AND give-up a pick.

Keep Mo & Redd in Milwaukee!

I wonder what trade we can do?

How about

Redd, Simmons for Varajao, Pavlovic, #19 and 2009 1st rounder
