I think we can do a Anderson Varajao and Chi 2nd rd pick for the #5 and Cardinal.

Why not a AV,#19,Future 2nd,and cash for Brian Cardinal,#5,and #28?

Or even a AV,Joe Smith,#19,Future 2nd,and Cash for Brian Cardinal,Darko Milicic, #5 and #28? We clear all their big contracts and they still get a pick and next year late and a young big that could possibly work out.

If Ferry trades AV+19th pick for JO+crap filler I will be very disappointed.

Unless he had a 2nd deal lined up that could bring us an upgrade at SG, I think it would be a bad trade.

Let's exhaust our biggest expiring contract, our best trade asset (Varejao) and our pick for an injury prone O'Neal.. Meanwhile Jermaine gets injured two weeks into the season and we are still stuck with Pavs as our SG with no assets to upgrade...sounds like a plan to me.

I'm not so sure I'd like to have to deal with a front line of Bosh and O'Neal but then they are both jump shooters. It might not be that bad. Wait a second, Ford doesn't make anything close to how much O'Neal makes. Are they just swallowing all that salary?

Anyone else amused that two of the guys people thought the Cavs might be pursuing (although most of the people on this board were against it because of their injury histories) are traded for each other.
