Dream Offseason

I think these trades are something we can work on and gives us the team we need to win the championship easily.
Trade #1:
Wally Szczerbiak and 2011 1st unprotected
for
Vince Carter and future 2nd
Reason: If Nets want to bank that they will get Lebron in 2010 than our most valuable pick will be the 1st year without Lebron which can likely be an easy lotto pick, but if they dont get Bron worst case scenario is they still get 2 great free agents(Wade,Bosh,Amare, etc) and have 2 1st rders(likely late).(low risk-high reward for NJ) Cavs get their SG/SF where people are saying he can't create offense and doesnt have it on defense, well Carter is one of three guys who avg around or above 25/5/5(other two are Lebron and Kobe), oh and about the defense,we started Wally last season and he did a good job against Ray Allen among all people, enough said.
Trade #2:( May need more tweaking)
Anderson Varajao
Aleksander Pavolovic
Eric Snow
Joe Smith
Damon Jones
09 1st rder
Cash
(future 2nd, if necessary)
for
Elton Brand
Cutino Mobley
Reason: I wanted to clear all cap for LA by taking Tim Thomas too, but that didnt work. And since we thin out our front court he would have helped but that way we cant trade Hickson either which would make the trade more fair if this isn't(which I think it is). They are not in a win now position so get a big who can be featured next to Kaman and Sasha who can play the 3 or 2 depending on where Gordon plays or who they trade Maggette for. Cavs get their Big and a vet guard-forward who can do what the Cavs and Brown likes on D and from the three.
Resign Delonte and Boobie
Sign Pietrus(youthful wing) and Kurt Thomas(veteran winner) to split the MLE
If possible, Wayne Simien and Jamont Gordon come to NBDl and sign
Roster:
PG Delont West,Daniel Gibson, Jamont Gordon
SG Vince Carter, Cutino Mobley,
SF Lebron James, Mikael Pietrus
PF Elton Brand, Ben Wallace, JJ Hickson, Darnell Jackson
C Zydrunas Ilguaskas, Kurt Thomas, Wayne Simien
I'm know we are stacked in the froncourt but 3 of those guys won't be producing for awhile, possibly JJ and Jackson but that wont be until later in the season but they would be 4 and 5 at best. But besides that I'm going straight to the Championship with that one.
