What do you guys think of Reddick?

Yeah, I know. He's been a bust and was never worth being a lottery pick. But, then he can shoot. And, the Cavs really could use a guy that can make an open shot at the 2. He can't guard anyone, but heck he shouldn't cost much either.

I actually think he'll cost more than what you would think..

But what i think about him, nothing special, could get kapono if we really wanted a shooter and could just keep wally.. those three have similar skills- kapono a little more, then wally, then reddick (can he even play major min).. too many question marks around him. Also, we already have boobie as a sg coming off the bench so not sure he'd really have a role..

I do see that Reddick actually has a team option after this year so he's basically expiring. negates the only offer I'd make for him. However, I don't think he nor Kapono can play big minutes. Neither one of them can guard a rocking horse. But, there were often times that the Cavs couldn't count on people making shots and I think that Reddick might be able to help in that respect. I wouldn't take on Kapono because he's limited and he's grossly overpaid.

I've always wanted Reddick on this team because of his lights-out shooting. I also liked him in college and want to see him at least given a chance in the pros to be that Steve Kerr type guy.

I think that he isn't much different from Wally.

Wally would be okay if he just was making his shots.

Reddick couldn't guard a stationary bike... He would get no burn here at all, because the man simply has not one defensive bone in his body..

Not only thatm but he can't get his shot own shot off, and would give the team very little in any other aspects of the game..

Time to quit the gimmicky players, and get some actual talent here for LeBron to work with...

Loved him in college, not so much now in the NBA. I still think that he could still be a serviceable shooting guard for us, albeit a redundant one. I'm thinking a Damon Jones.

Not one time was his name spelled right in this post. It is Redick, and he isn't THAT bad of a player. Sure he wasn't worth the 11th pick, but the main reason he doesn't get any PT on the Magic is because everyone else on our team can shoot too. Most Magic fans think that Redick can be very serviceable if he goes to the right team. With that said, Otis Smith has said, more than a few times, that Redick isn't going anywhere, so maybe we are actually planning on playing him? Probably not, but take it for what its worth. If you guys have the opportunity to get Redick, I think he would be a very good pickup for you guys, the kid is the same lights out shooter he was in college, and he is a gym rat that is constantly working on defense. He definitely has the work ethic to get better, just not a good fit on the Magic. Sorry for rambling, just killing time before work...

Reddicck wouldnt be a good fit here either because Reddic apparently constantly working on his defense still hasnt turned him into an evenly remotely decent defender. Sure he can shoot, but so can this 58 year old guy down at the Y that I play ball against, unfortunately that guy has had 3 knee surguries and can barely move so guarding him literally means just standing in front of him.... My point is Readik is a one trick pony and if he hasnt been able to see minutes on an Orlando team that up until this year needed a 2/3 then how would he see minutes on a team where the focus is 90% defense 8% rebounding and 2% offense?
