I'm so pissed off we didn't get him in a sign and trade. Is anyone else upset about not getting him. Who should we pursue know? Maybe Gerald Wallace?

No. The odds of us getting him OR Brand were like 1%.

Think about it realistically. B Diddy obviously wants to be in LA, I've seen him courtside at Laker games in the playoffs, he is trying to do movies, etc. etc. He's also from the West Coast.

We need to set our sights lower. Maggette is a realistic option..

Maggette is only gonna be able to get the mle if sixers dont make a run at him. So everyone is out to get him lol, lebron would have to make a personal call to him to get him here imo. And who knows if that would even work.. No sign and trades are possible with him now, so i hear...

The Warriors are starting over no doubt. They will not go after Mickael Pietrus now for sure. Pick him up he's good on defense and has a very good outside shot. Starting him at the two. I know he's a three but is a 35+% shooter from the arc and if he gets challenged there can take it to the rack over most bigs. A real hi flyer. Minutes are down to 20 or so and he still has averages around 10 a game. LBJ makes everone better. Salary will be around 4 mil

I don't get why Lebron doesn't do that all the time (I mean maybe he does, how would we know). He's the biggest name in basketball right, you'd think tons of guys would want to play with him. Instead...we don't see that happening, and all we see is teams who don't wanna trade with us cuz the last thing they wanna do is make the Cavs better. It's such BS.

As far as reasonable guys to get this offseason (cuz hopefully Ferry isn't content with just re-signing guys and draft picks :-? ): Mickael Pietrus, Josh Childress, James Posey, Matt Barnes, Kelenna Azubuike, Bonzi Wells, Shaun Livingston, and I'd say Corey Maggette as more of a reach. Anyone else would have to be via trade, or maybe Lebron/Gilbert/Ferry finally convincing a star or borderline-star to take a pay cut and play with Lebron/for a winner.

Josh Childress would be a good acquisition. We could start him at SG, can penetrate, defend, and run the floor next to Lebron. Still young enough to improve. Not sure about his shooting though.

Josh Childress would be a great pick up. Mike Brown likes tall guards and Childress is tall and athletic. Unfortunately the Hawks will probably match any offers he gets. We could also offer Maggette the full mid-level exception because that is probably what he will get from other teams since the clippers won't sign and trade him after signing B.Diddy. He already got that offer from the Spurs and Celtics.
