I love LeBron but I was surprised at this also. Michael Phelps has to be #1, but he didn't even get #2.

Lebron is kind of overrated but he is a REALLY good player. Or he just puts up good numbers <_<

1-Why Phelps? Nobody cares swimming that much.
2-LeBron is the face of the American basketball and he's the biggest commercial product of USA in the Beijing'08.
3-LeBron might be the most hyped player but he's also the best player.(arguably)
So considering all these it's not surprising that Time labeled him as the No 1 Athlete to Watch.
