Remember, this is Danny Ferry, not Danny Fairy. You really can't blame him for not making your dreams reality.

Its worse than when we had Shannon Brown, Devin Brown, and Mike Brown. What can Brown do for you?

To propose these two dumb trades, you are not a Cavs fan. You have been exposed as a fraud. Ferry is too smart to make bad trades.

Please go on and explain how these trades are bad?

Edit: I'll even go into why i think these are good trades. 1) Talent- Cavs add a ton of talent here. 2) Youth. Josh Smith is 22. JR Smith is 22. With Lebron (23) and West (25), we have a great young core. 3) Should make Lebron very happy.

Josh Smith- A great defensive player still developing his offensive game. Has the ability to average 20/10 throughout his career. (AVG 17/8 last year)

JR Smith- I think Michael Redd. Not a great defender but can light it up on the offensive end. Was also selected to the USA Select team. Also is lebron's friend. Seems to be cleaning up his attitude and past mistakes.

With these two trades Big Z becomes our 4th or 5th option on offense- when was the last time we could say that? NEVER. And we don't lose anything on defense. Josh Smith is more than comparable to Ben Wallace. and JR Smith is more than comparable to Wally.

Cons: We lose JJ Hickson- but he becomes unnecessary with the addition of Josh Smith.
We lose two 1st- Yes this hurts, especially trying to get a Center here after big z retires but hopefully we would use our 2010 1st on a center or sign a decent one (Maybe Nenad Krstic- only 25 right now- if he comes back) for a MLE or something.

I don't know why i wasted my time explaining all that to you- i guess i saw you were somewhat new..

ok... i was just throwing a name out there.. it doesn't matter cuz this is all a pipe dream anyways.. i just understand how someone could not like this for our team.. so wisedude i still hope you explain to me how these are bad trades.

And since i'm going to keep this pipe dream going- on the books after 2010 would be boobie (something around 4 mil i think), West (unless he only signs a two year deal, but he would be something around 5-6 mil), JR Smith (say he signed for MLE money maybe with some raises- 6-7 mil), and Smoove (say around 14 mil).. add in Lebron's cap hold (I don't know how to calculate this, but i've heard it will be around 20 mil?).. 49- 51 mil.. Cap should be about 70 mil.. still 19 to 21 mil to offer Bosh or Amare..

West
JR
Lebron
Smoove
Bosh/Amare

and because we'd then have absolutely no money left we'll fill the other roster spots with Terrance Kinsey and his former turkish team mates. those guys would work on the cheap, especially since the american players will have taken all their jobs by then

we wouldn't have to have ANY cash ear marked to fill out the rest of the roster

or we'd stand pat with only 6 or 7 players on the team and hope Mike Brown finally figures out how to have a consistent rotation

i say might because well... he's Mike Brown and he's never shown any signs of ever having a consistent rotation

Even if Ferry wanted to "change his ways", what makes you think opposing teams are going to give up young talent unless they really dont fit the team or they are earning waaay too much? Thats why guys like Mo Williams and depending on how much he's asking for JR Smith are good options.

Mo especially got a fat contract and now with Redd and Jefferson especially, doesnt really fit in Milwaukee. Of course then you have ot ask yourself if the juice (MoWill) is worth the squeeze (Money).

I am not really a Mo Williams fan. He just makes me think Mike James. But for those of you that actually want to read the article (which is purely speculative in nature) here is the link.
