http://basketball.realgm.com/src_wireta ... with_heat/The move may mean more moves are on the horizon for the Heat, with Pat Riley trying to keep his ball club away from the luxury tax. According to the report Miami may try to trade away Daequan Cook or Dorell Wright for nothing in return.
I'd be interested in getting Dorrell Wright.

I'd take Cook because his 1st year numbers are way better than Wrights in 4 years. Cook as a possible 2 or Wright backing up the 2/3. Cook can shoot the 3 and wright can't shoot at all. We get Cook for Chi 2nd rder or future 2nd or Wright and we exchange 2nds. We can probably add cash to any deal if they are just worried about money.

Cook has a GREAT mid range jumper, he'd get a ton of open looks in our system. Give me Cook.

Miami would be looking for a trade exemption in any deal plus a 2nd round pick.
That would make Cook a fit with the CAVs since his salary is 1.2 million and the CAVs have a 1.6 million trade exemption from the Cedric Simmons deal last season.

I would like to get Cook if possible. He's young and raw but definately has some ability.
