MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- Chicago Bulls guard Larry Hughes left Wednesday's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves with a dislocated right shoulder.

Hughes left the game with 3:16 to play in the third quarter and did not return after getting his arm caught under Minnesota forward Mike Miller as the two dove for a loose ball. Hughes was leading Chicago with 21 points when he left.

Hughes, averaging 13 points per game in the preseason, is fighting for playing time in a crowded backcourt featuring Kirk Hinrich, Ben Gordon and No. 1 draft pick Derrick Rose.

And also.. So far in the preseason he played in 6 games. Here are some of his numbers.

30% FG (17-56)
8% 3FG (1-12)
0.5 APG (3)
2.3 TPG (14)

Makes me really happy that we traded him.

I came over last night to post this news - but couldnt find a thread that was appropriate.

Then i figured that you guys probably dont want to remember him.

Sadly, a lot of Bulls posters were celebrating the news.

I don't really know why any Cavs fan would even care about this news.

Sorry but I cant forget Mr. Glass. At least Big Ben lasted longer than Hughes. I guess that logjam at the 2 guard isnt a problem anymore for Chicago.

I'm happy with the Ben for Hughes swap. Sure Wallace is old but at least he knows his role and doesn't brick 65% of his shots while taking awkward jumpers

Agreed. Ben isn't that good anymore but he does the dirty work and takes like 1-2 shots per game.

Hughes drove me insane with his missed layups and chucked jumpers.

You just have to wonder if Hughes is genetically prone to this kind of stuff. I mean, he gets all these sorts of tissue injuries that "normal" people just don't get with similar activity level.

I still wonder what he would have been like here had he been 100% healthy, because ideally his skillset is that of Mo Williams with better man-on defense and better handles. But we never saw that except for about a month when he was here.

He's a horrible injury prone basketball player. I never liked his game even when he was in his prime.
