Key Match up
"This is the best team that we've had since I've been here," James said. "I see the talent from 1 to 14, everybody can contribute. I know I've improved five times than I was in Game 7 of the Boston series."
Four hours til tip off, suprised there wasn't a thread yet so here we go. The Cavs start off with the champs, who are getting their rings and putting another banner up before the game. Some really good games between these two teams this past season. I expect nothing different tonight. Can't wait for this game to start. Go Cavs.

Hey, is it me?
It seems that people keep saying that the Cavs will miss Joe Smith (who didn't even play 20 mins a night for us last year) but nobody seems to say much about PJ Brown (who actually made huge plays for the Celtics in just about every game). In addition they lost the other glue guy that actually was huge against us in Posey. I seriously doubt that we miss Smith as much as they will miss the other two against us.

A game thread!!!! Finally, I cant wait for this team. I really believe that this will be the best Cavs team in a long while, possibly ever. I hope to see these two teams playing game 6 in boston in the ecf in about 6 months or so.

They'll miss Posey alot. Moreso against the Cavs than most teams, especially in a 7 game series. It will be interesting to see who they put on LeBron if Pierce gets in foul trouble. Posey also hit some big shots for them. Brown and Smith are kinda the same player IMO. I haven't had a chance to see JJ Hickson play yet, but I've heard good things about him. How much burn do you think he gets tonight?

Hey, btw I didnt notice a Cavs realgm fantasy league this year. Based on my last years performance I shouldnt say anything, but I just joined a public league on Yahoo #126577, and there are 6 spots left. The draft is this Saturday at 10:oo AM. If anyone is interested, a few familiar faces would be welcome.

Mo with a quick 5 points. Sloppy passing so far, but Boston is pretty sloppy themselves right now. Delonte had a couple nice buckets and Z is going to the line again. 14-6 Cavs

Yeah, the Cavs look okay so far but too many turnovers.
Really bad call on Z (who is looking a step slow so far today)

Pierce is getting foul calls he doesn't deserve while LeBron can't buy a foul call.

If Wally can't make the wide open 3 he probably shouldn't be playing.

To be honest, the Cavs start every season kinda sloppy. But, Boston does play pretty good defense especially if they aren't calling the fouls on them for physical play.
