Game 2: Bobcats @ Cavs - Thu, Oct 30, 7pm [FSN-OH]

Charlotte Bobcats(0-0) at Cleveland Cavaliers(0-1)
Game Date: Thursday, October 30th, 2008
Game Time: 7:00 P.M. ET
Location: Quicken Loans Arena
TV: FOX Sports Ohio HD
Radio: WTAM 1100

Probable Lineups
Charlotte -- Cleveland
Raymond Felton -PG- Mo Williams
Jason Richardson -SG- Delonte West
Gerald Wallace -SF- LeBron James
Sean May -PF- Ben Wallace
Emeka Okafor -C- Zydrunas Ilgauskas

LTC's keys of the game
-Control the defensive glass- Boston had alot of second chance opportunities in the second half on Tuesday. Charlotte is going to try to play a slow it down type game.
-Fastbreak points- Only 6 of them against the Celtics. Actually should have been more than this, but alot of sloppy passing led to turnovers instead of finishing it off. Coach Brown has supposedly been preaching to get out and run more. Well lets see some of it.
-Sasha Pavlovic- Jason Richardson has had some big games against the Cavs. I can't see any of our other guards trying to defend J-Rich all night.

The Bobcats gave the Cavs 4 tough games last year(Cavs won 3 of them). LeBron averaged near a triple double against these guys(31-10-7) and coming off a subpar game for his standards. Looks like a storm is brewing for him in the home opener. 3pt shooting will need to improve tonight as well. Only 3-15 as a team(Mo was 3-5) against Boston. Lets get in the win column tonight, Go Cavs!

Good points LTC.

I think Boobie will get on track with his shooting in this game. Lebron will obviously look to make a statement after his mediocre opening night performance.

What I'm looking for is if Brown will correct some of his bad sub patterns like taking out Mo/Delonte/LBJ all at the same time. The rotations have to be cleaned up immediately.

This is also kind of a must-win. We have a tough road trip coming up

I'm not that concerned with Gibsons outside shot. I'm sure he'll get it going eventually (not quite as sure about Wally however). What I do like is that Gibson is taking people off of the dribble. He's really quicker than just about anyone that'd be guarding him so if he can continue to be aggressive off the dribble that should open him up for even more outside shots. Hopefully Sasha continues to take people to the rack as well and maybe he'll remember where he left his J also.

Of course they should. The Cavs won 3 out of 4 last year. The Cavs are the better team. The Cavs are playing their home opener. The Cavs should win by double digits.

Dont forget LBJ doesnt care much for the bobs new coach L-Bronze, so it looks like about 35-40 pts for Lebron tonight. Cavs should shine in home opener and win by at least 10.

Boobie!! Pair of three's for Gibson. I was thinking like AC at the start there. The Bobcats missed like 9 shots in a row and the Cavs never made them pay for it. Need to get some distance on this Charlotte team early. Wallace with a couple nice defensive plays too.

LeBron in the post!! Please god, let us see alot more of that this year. Gerald Wallace is a beast on D, but he stands no chance with LeBron getting the ball that low. Excellent D by Pavlovic to end the first quarter. Cavs by 9 after one quarter.

Boobie with 11 points now. Good to see him bouncing back from the past game. Big Ben has 3 blocks too, holy hell I wish he'd bring this kinda D more often. Keep it up Cavs, LeBron has been on the bench for a long time already. Not sure how long this 10 man rotation lasts, but its good for now.

Unfortunately, I am not able to watch this game. But, this is not something I thought I'd ever see

"Delonte West block Emeka Okafor's shot"

Are you kidding me?

Is it me or is LeBron getting worse from the line?

Delonte blocked his share of big guys, yao included. He's an impressive shotblocker for his size.

He's getting worse because he can't pass the mental barrier. Kid is so sensitive.

Nice way to end the half by the Cavs, up by 17 at the break. Boobie with 20 points already on 8-10 shooting. Gotta love that. Cavs are at +11 in rebounding, but Charlotte has alot of offensive boards still(7). Great overall first half by the Cavs.

Gibson closes the half with a 3, now that's how you close out a quarter. Now the Cavs need to friggin come out to play the 3rd for a change. Take the life out of these little cats.

Typical Cavalier 3rd quarter so far. Luckily, I don't think Charlotte is really good enough to take advantage of it.

The Cavs has to be seriously the worst 3rd quarter team ever...or very close to it.
