Jon Barry said at Mike Tirico's show that he heard that LeBron James was weighed 274 pounds yesterday!

I've read the whole discussion at RCF and gotta tell that I just can't believe that it's true! 260 is ok! It's obvious from his body that he's somewhere between 255-265 but 274 is insane! If this is true LeBron James is truly a Karl Malone with MJ's speed! Just sounds ridiculous and I don't buy that 274 number. If he's really 274 I suggest that he should lose some serious weight.

What are your thoughts about it?

He is still the same player but bigger. As long as he isn't out of shape and has the ability to play 40 minutes per game then I'm fine with it.

274 lol ... thats how much money he got. 274 million.

Damm how does he move that fast. He is bozzer/Brand size but he moves better speed and ball handling
then many PGs

I wouldn't be surprised if it were true. Muscle is heavy and LBJ's has a lot of that.

Right now that weight is ok because I'm sure his body fat is where it needs to be, but as he gets older he will get heavier so he'll have to keep an eye on it. As he gets older and slower I see him strictly as a PF though.

I always believed he was about 260-265 but I never thought he was 270+ but i could believe it.

People already said he had an NBA ready body coming out of high school but he is much bigger from his rookie year.

The guy is a freak and it is really unfair that he can handle the ball as well as he does because with that frame he is built like a PF.

He is the shaquille of small forwards, he is still working on his post game, but he dominates the paint at a huge small forward like shaq did as a huge center.

Lebron can clearly carry the weight well right now - what is he like 5% body fat? My only concern would be the strain on his knees.

his knees will definately be affected and hurting down the road carrying that weight...but thats so many years from now.

The weight and body fat percentages for NBA players are almost always incredibly wrong. I can guarantee you that he is not 274 pounds with 5% body fat.

Unless he's got some steel inside there, which is very possible , there's no way he's over 250.
