Should the Cavaliers retire Z's jerseys?

Post#1 » by TheOUTLAW » Sat Dec 6, 2008 9:03 pm

LeBron thinks that the Cavs will retire Z's jersey, what do you think?

I think that they will. He's been the Cavs center his entire career and will likely retire as a Cavalier. He''s been an all star and leader of this team for 12 years even when it would have been much easier for him to retire and take his millions. I think he's the heart of the team and he's clearly the closest thing that the team has had to an enforcer (well up until Wallace came on board). I think it's a no brainer

Absolutely, he has meant more to this team than his career averages of 14.9 ppg and 7.9 rpg. He is about to become the all-time Cavs rebound leader. He is the brick and mortar of this team. On top of this, he has been great this year and should be an all-star for sure.
Is Larry Hughes having fun yet?

The fans love him. He has always given this team his all. He has done so much for us and been more loyal than any other cleveland sports figure I can think of. He deserves it so much.

if they didn't, they'd have to take down the jerseys already in the rafters.

I agree. It's sad that Rasheed Wallace made it over him last year in the All-Star.
