Lebron James or Dwight Howard?Hypothetical Question

If you were a gm of the Cavs, and you wanted to build your franchise from the ground up who would you rather build around Lebron or Dwight.

I would choose Dwight because he is a very rare talent and not to mention he plays the center position.I would rather build around a big man because center's are hard to find with his kind of talent.Im not taking anything away from Lebron,I think Lebron is the best talent in the NBA,but Dwight is a franchise center.

Who would you take.

Lebron easy. Dwight is a franchise center. Lebron is the franchise. The point you made about Dwight- being a rare talent- Lebron is an even rarer talent.

Yea, that pretty much sums it up. LeBron is the franchise.

No reasonable GM would rather have Dwight than Lebron. Dwight is a great player, but Lebron has the potential to be the best ever. A big man can only do so much for a team; while Lebron can play 4 positions and can work from the post or perimeter. It's an easy choice- Lebron

I mean seriously, c'mon dude... I wouldn't trade LeBron for the Magic team, or even two Dwight Howards..

Dwight's been in the league one less year than LeBron, and has pretty much had more overall talent surrounding him than LeBron has, yet LeBron has been far more successful... Why ?? Because he's a superior player..

You can go ahead and keep Dwight... I'm sure there would not be one mentally stable Cavalier fan in that would venture over to the Magic board and suggest a LeBron for Dwight swap...

This did make my night though... I seriously laughed..

It's not even close. There is no player in history that I would take over LeBron. The only person that even gets consideration from me is a young Olajuwan.

Crazy is all I have to say about this thread. However it would be a great thought to somehow get lbj on our Cavs. That would be unstopable!

Howard bigman 1 yr younger loyal best defender but still Lebron bec he can score a lot more points & a winner
