Says he is close to agreeing on a 3yr 16m dollar offer from OKC. Didn't we offer him like the same contract? Why would he now want to accept that type of deal and go to a lesser team. Doesn't make sense imo..

When did we offer him such a deal? It's news to me...

I know we showed interest in him this summer. Not sure if we offered a contract however. He saw the big money he could get over seas and thought he'd be a big star. Apparently that hasnt worked out so well for him, since he wants out of his contract already. You've gotta think that a similar contract offer from us would be more appealing than one from OKC, but then again he would probably step right in and start for those guys or at least get big minutes, whereas for us he would be a backup and have to earn his minutes as he goes. I sure would like to have a piece like him to build on for the future though. His game reminds me so much of Z's its sick.

Kristic signs with Memphis because he would probably be a starter for them next to Marc Gasol. He signs here he is a 4th big.

He would have been a nice fit here though, assuming his knee is OK

I hope he does go to OKC, hopefully we'd be able to get one of their other big guys.

I read right after he chose to go to Europe that we supposedly offered him 3 yrs at the full mle or close to it. A couple of other people on RCF said they read the same thing a while back. I'm gonna see if i can find something on it but i am 100% thats what i read. It actually surprised me at the time that we offered him that and that he declined.

It was 3yrs at 15m, so he is only gonna be getting 1m more over 3 season than what we were gonna give him.

didnt know the cavs had made him an offer, but he is so injury prone and Id rather get a vet big man with playoff experience
