Why not Shaq?

If things keep going as they are and the Cavs want to add a final piece, then perhaps they should trade for Shaq:

Cavs get: Shaq

Suns get: Wally, Snow, Cavs first round pick

Cavs' benefits -- Shaq's a proven winner who can give them 20-25 minutes of inside scoring and bruising play. Shaq can help wear down opponents bigs and score inside. Even as a shadow of his former MDE self, he's still a quality big with limited minutes.

Suns' benefits -- Unloading Shaq for expiring contracts give the suns more flexibility heading into the off-season. Wally will fit the Suns style of play well and Amare becomes 'the Man' in Phoenix as they rebuild around him and JR with the extra pick.

This is probably the best the cavs can do -- even better than getting Joe Smith back.

the suns are not going to let shaq go. that's your first mistake. the two teams i like/follow are the cavs and suns, and i can say with upmost certainty that shaq is going nowhere, especially not for wally, a retired pg, and a pick (which will be late because the cavs are doing so well). since the j rich trade, the suns are looking much better and the fans are much happier with the way things are going. the suns are almost certainly going to make the playoffs, and have the firepower to be a dangerous team when they do.
secondly, exactly what can shaq do for the cavs? do you want to start him and Z and have the all time slowest line-up? he would certainly not let his ego take the hit of coming off the bench.
Lastly, how do you think the suns can build around amare, Jrich, and a first round pick that figures to be around 28? with a pick that late, you'd be lucky to get a bench player. Their main piece in rebuilding will be shaq's and nash's expiring deals.

You can't be serious. Shaq is like 38 yrs. old and his productivity has declined as he has aged.

I honestly don't understand why these guys with very little posts come to this board and post ridiculous trades.
