Anyone want Maggette??

Title says it all. As far as we're concerned he can be had for a bag of chips and a hot dog. So anyone want him and what could you offer? (Seriously, we'd almost accept anything at all)

For Snow and Kinsey, sure. The cavs could use a nice scorer to use as a 6th man like Corey.

NO we don't want Maggette. Under any circumstances- including the suggested trade above. Snow will save the FO a ton of money and Maggette would ruin our 2010 capspace. Add that to all the negatives about Maggette and it's a no go for our team. Period.

i think corey maggette would be a decent addition but his contract is horrid we would take it if you were willing too swap draft picks and corey would be willing too come off the bench as a 6th man sorta the way stack USED TO DO for Dallas

you know, i just realized his contract was that long. for some reason i didn't think GS had extended him that long. in that case, i would say nevermind because we don't want to jeopardize 2010.

Maggette's contract is bad, but he's not a particularly good player. His stats are a whole lot better then he is as a player. Not only would I not want him for free, I'm not sure I'd want him if someone else was paying his contract.

Don't want him. Poor shooter, low IQ, injury prone, a bit cancer, and like it's been mentioned before, his contract is awful. Why don't we get Gooden and Hughes back while we're at it?

No way, not for that contract.

Corey is a better player than most of you are aware. Also... his last year isn't guaranteed.
And just so you know... The Cavs are interested in him... they were this summer, and I'm sure they still are.
If they can trade Wally for Corey and filler, Danny will do it.
However... Dallas wants him a lot more than we do, and they'll send more for him. So I fully expect him to be in Dallas by the deadline.

Even if his last year isn't guaranteed, they still have to pay him 10 million a year for four years. That's way more than he is worth. He doesn't play defense, he turns the ball over, he has never been a part of a real winning team, has a poor attitude, and dominates the ball (not to mention he can't really shoot and is injury prone). He's getting his 19ppg this year in a running system where almost anyone in the nba can get those kind of numbers, and he's getting those points on barely over 40% from the field to go with < 20% from 3.
The cavs may have been interested over him in the summer for a 6th man role or something like that, but not when they have to commit $10 million to him in the summer of 2010 when they want to resign lebron and hopefully find him his wing man.

Exactly- couldn't say it better myself. Heath, there's no way the Cavs bring in Maggette.

toronto will take him off your hands if you include Anthony Randolph doubt GSW would do it

Most of which is an exaggeration..or just nuts. Can't shoot..yet somehow gets 18-22 pt about 4 yr in a row? Must be luck. Cancer? What's he done? I do see various players having a FEW big scorong games for GSW...but just anyone? Consistantly?
The "Offer" was posted to every board-and is pretty bogus as "will take anything" is not how ANY GM who expects to have a job "sells" a deal. Here.....the same GM just SIGNED an expired FA...expecting he's be pretty much the player he was. That's what he's been. Compare his stats to Josh Howard for the season...about the same. Fact is...I don't see anything the Cavs have GSW would trade for and I don't think the Cavs want to invest in a guy who's ideally a SF
