The Curse of Cleveland continues

Just letting you guys know. Even when we went to the Finals, Larry was hurt. Last year against Boston, Boobie was out and we needed him. And this year...

Fractures???

C'mon, by two of our more important players and two thinnest positions??

1976, anyone??

Man, this isn't even about making excuses. You guys already know the deal about the Indians and Browns.

Just horrible guys. In the most top-season the NBA has a seen in a while, we are the ones who come up lame.

I'm depressed, guys.

Relax, did you have season tickets when Shawn Kemp was in town? Now that is depressing!

The curse was lifted when the Cavaliers won the lottery and they got LBJ.

If the curse was still around, LBJ would not have resigned a couple years ago when idiots like Stevie Smith said he would leave for say New York, lol!?! No, he is'nt going to New York in the near future, unless he lied and don't care about winning, or playing defense.

These are the best of times for Cavaliers fans! The days of gloom and doom are over, and they have been for quite awhile. It probaly has alot to do when you became a Cavalier fan.

If you have suffered through the "valley" of Clevelands past, you are more likley to enjoy the journey to the "peak"!

When I was growing up I heard all these great stories of possibly the greatest football player ever, Jim Brown, playing for my hometeam. I will be telling my grankids one day about Lebron James playing for my hometeam the same way.

Enjoy, what don't kill this team will make them stronger!

What the heck? You guys are having the best year in ages and are a real contender this season. How is that a curse?

Chill out, injuries and such just happen sometimes. It happens to other teams as well, and ironically enough each of those teams' fanbases cry murder as well.

Try and see it as a positive; because guys like West are out, other players that normally wouldn't get the opportunity get to be battle-tested and checked out. It wouldn't be the first time a backup player or 3rd stringer even would come in and gain so much confidence he can play a bigger role on the bench from there on.

With Pietrus out for the Magic, for example, rookie guard Courtney Lee really stepped up big so far and even JJ Redick is doing very well. When Pietrus (and later Bogans) went out, Magic fans thought hell froze over because SG was supposedly our weakest position as well. Now, we know Lee can be a real player down the line and Redick is actually a solid rotation player. Once Pietrus returns, the Magic have a stronger bench than before the injuries. Same thing with when Dwight missed 2 games earlier; Marcin Gortat all of a sudden came out huge, and is now a key reserve for the Magic.

It's definitely not a given something like this happens, but my point is that what doesn't kill you often makes you stronger.

You guys have a great team, are improving every year and are a real contender this year. Try to enjoy all the things that are going so well for your franchise instead of dwelling on what's going wrong. Try and look at the big picture. Things are looking up, so don't be down too much.

Best of luck the rest of the year by the way. I really hope (and think) your team and my Magic are going to have quite a good rivalry going on the next few years.

I understand your fears but i do believe this stretch of games will make this team stand up and be the best they can be. We wil see if players like JJ, Kinsey & Wright can step in & be NBA players. I think the 1 player that if he could step it up that could really hold down the SG spot is Sasha. If he can do it we may not lose much. At times he looks like hes not husling, but when he hits a few of his shots the game seams to flow very smooth. Heres hoping Sasha's game comes around.
