Hopefully Outlaw or lj4mvp will throw a sticky for this thread and I'll update it as we go(and make a thread for the next month when we get closer). I've seen this on a few other team forums and its good for organization/participation of newer members(and I've noticed some here lately). I will take the Kings game so we already have the next one lined up. It's cool to make the game threads for the board, but we have a great team this year. We have some really talented posters(certainly more talented than I am with photoshop, images, etc. Plus sometimes the team schedule really conflicts with my work schedule. Only one rule, you have to be a Cavs fan to sign up or Outtie will lock yours up . First come, first serve.

lol, nah I was actually going to make this post a while back. Sometimes I'm lucky to get the game thread up before tipoff. We need a little variety. I'm sure we got some guys like yourself, BMac, L&H, lj, Outtie, GB, bcortell, prekazi and some rookies too that could do some really different kind of threads.

I would go with this game thread signing up if there were more people who would like to participate. But it seems like only me, you, and sometimes B Mac makes the game threads. If neither of us make it, then some outsider does.

I'll take the orlando game if noone minds...

It's yours. That's one of the bigger games though, please try to have that one up as soon as possible after the Kings game for banter with the Magic fans. It would be much appreciated by all I would have to think.

Yeah, i've already started formatting it in notepad lol any tips for a first timer? i dont plan on using big images, but a lot.. theres not a limit correct?

Just from looking around the forums, it all depends on the original posters style. Do whatever you want to do with the thread DWestfan. Things like how we mostly put the gamedate, time, in the title let posters know when the game is on in case they forgot. Other than that, wing it.

i should have it up on wed., i just need to see how the teams do in their games on tues

There is no limit for pictures. My advice for you is to just stick with the basics. Use color, bolded text, and font size if you need to. I think that the small player images on ESPN.com are great for game threads as well as the player file pictures on NBA.com. But it's your game thread with your own creativity. Make it however you like and create more game threads if you want to.

Also, you can go to http://sportslogos.net/league.php?id=6 to get team logos and other stuff to style up your game threads. Just a suggestion.

with my class and work schedule, the weekends are the only free time i have - ill try to do some of those games to take some of the stress off ya ltc

with that said, ill take detroit...should have er up sometime saturday

Im way too damn superstitious to make one this year. I made a ton last year and the team actually had a really good record when I made the thread. Then this year started and I was actually on my honeymoon with no computer access for the first couple of games and then when I got home I had a ton of catching up on things I put off before the wedding so I never got a chance to sit down and create any game threads. Then when LTC kept making them and we kept winning I wasnt going to dare jump in and ruin his mojo. Unless the Cavs lose two in a row this season I dont plan on making any game threads. If it aint broke why fix it?

lol BMac. Actually missed seeing you in the game threads DURING the games bro. Sign up for some man.. I would love to do every thread to keep the mojo, but I don't know sometiemes if i'll even be near my computer. Thats kinda why I started this thread. I'll take the Clippers game, I don't think anyone is going to jump through hoops for that one.

Its hard for me to be on realgm during games because the computer and the TV are no longer in the same room and my laptop went bye bye. Working on getting a new laptop in the not so distant future so hopefully I can be back posting during games along with you guys again.
