A bunch load of bs. Stephen A's only reliable source is Jalen Rose, who CB said has not spoken with Jalen in a very long time. You guys actually think CB would make that decision a year and a half before 2010?

As unlikely as it is for us to acquire him this year, all I can say is I hope we get him. Also Stoudemire sounds nice here too.

I know most of you will think I am crazy, but I don't want to trade Hickson. And for surely there is no way we can trade Hickson AND Andy, we would only have 3 bigs then.

Hickson's rookie numbers are comparable to Bosh's when he was a rookie except Bosh played on a crappy team and got 33 mpg. If you extrapolate Hickson's stats to 33 min per game all of his numbers would exceed Bosh's and he shoots a much higher percentage than Bosh did (mostly because he takes less jumpers than Bosh did)

Year two for Bosh he averaged 17 ppg and 9 in 37 mpg, any Cavs fan on here think IF Hickson plays that much next year that he wouldn't be close to that?

In January Hickson averaged 19 min per game, he got almost 8ppg, 4.5 rpg and almost 1 block per game....as a 20 year old on a championship level team.

I just think this kid is going to be a stud in 2 years.

Plus anyone watch Lebron's interview after today's game when he was talking about Andy? He said Andy does so many important things for the team that don't show up in the stat sheets. He said you NEED players like Andy on your team.

I want Stoudemire no where near my team. He plays ZERO defense. And whines and complains when he is not the "Man".

we need andy and hickson around hickson will only get better and andy is a good player and lebron makes him look alot better they are are young front court players after z and wallace get to old. i actually think that at some point next year hickson will be starting at power forward for us full time.

we need to upgrade up front i still think z has a few years left though but wallace ehhhh im not so sure.

Getting Bosh should be Ferry's number one mission if this is true.

I think you would have to take on Kapono's money if Bosh were offered up. Together they make 20 million. Snow and Wally's money would do it but I think we would have to throw in JJ. maybe a first too. (if so I would see Joey Graham involved for money only) I'd do it because you always want to win NOW! forget later if this puts us over the top. The only thing that worries me about Bosh is that half of the games this year against the Boston's Orlando's, Lakers' Pistons etc. he has been shut down. I'm not too concerned about this due to the fact that anyone who plays with LBJ gets better. Wow, is this really possible.....

Probably not. Its Cleveland.

The Cavs would be STACKED if this went down!

I really feel bad for the Raptors' fans. SAS needs to mind his own damn biz. I doubt CB4 even talked to him just like LeBron never said anything 'bout leaving Cleveland. With that said, I'm really glad the Cavs have an owner like Gilbert who has taken every precaution and spent money to build a winner around LeBron. I would feel bad for the Raps' fans if Bosh does leave but there is still another part of me that hopes CB4 comes to the Cavs if he ever leaves Toronto. I couldn't stand it if they ever banded together someplace like NY. I would quit watching the NBA altogether if that happened.

We can't trade our 2nd string PG, and not receive a PG in return. And yes I know Boobie is a true small SG and when hes playing the point he has no idea what he's doing. But still he's our 2nd string. I don't want to see BRON BRON at the PG position every time Mo is out.

I'd love to get Bosh, but Toronto can get a lot more than Hickson, Boobie and Wally plus late first round picks. To even get a conversation, we'd probably have to offer both Varejao and Hickson and possibly Delonte (plus wally).

Toronto wants an all-star caliber player in return for Bosh and high first round picks.

None of this makes sense for either team, to be honest. The Cavs can win a title this year without a trade. Toronto would rather get an all-star or high picks plus cap relief than some nice role players. Varejao and West are much, much more valuable to the Cavs than to any other team.

The Cavs chemistry and current roster is championship material. Right now, I think the Cavs have better depth than Boston, Orlando, and even LA. Getting the top seed in the East is huge.

I don't think the Cavs will make a blockbuster at this point and I don't think it makes sense to lose cap flexibility to upgrade a role players (e.g. pursue Mike miller). Unless the Cavs can pick up Joe Smith if he gets a buy-out, I can't foresee anything else but signing a vet let go by another team.

Otherwise, the only other deal out there seems to be wally and something for Carter, but I don't want Vince's contract, nor his questionable attitude.

I dont think he gets traded this year, but I do think he gets traded next year. We will still have some very valuable expiring assets next year to part with and will also have at least another rookie to offer along with all of our picks to play with. I dont think we will ever be able to offer the best deal, but if Bosh makes it known he wants to play with the King, then we are in business.

As for Bosh saying he isnt going to resign. Whether he said it or not, Im not surprised by this news. I've expected him to opt out (if he is still with Toronto) in '10 for quite a while now. Lets hope LeBron continues recruiting him, because you know the two are buddies, and we could surely use another big in the not so distant future.
