Suns' fan for Amare to Cleveland

Post#1 » by gumpspeed » Sun Feb 15, 2009 8:37 pm

I really hope that Amare stays in Phoenix, but if our owner continues to be a nitwit and lets Amare go as he did Joe Johnson, Shawn marion, Kurt Thomas, James Jones, Eddie House, Rudy Fernandez, Rajon Rondo, Raja Bell, Boris Diaw, Mike D'Antoni and picks, I hope it is to Cleveland. If we are not to get equal value, then give Amare to Cleveland. I want LeBron to stay in Cleveland regardless what happens in Phoenix, and it would be great to give LeBron no reason to leave. Plus, I can live with us stinking and rooting for you guys. I will have no problems becoming a Cavs supporter.

Owners in this league knows Amare value, but yet they want him for nothing. Give Amare to Cleveland so they can be a dynasty for the next 8 years. That is how you stick it back to the low balling NBA teams Sarver. Make the whole NBA sorry for trying to squeeze Phoenix.

If Amare goes to Cleveland, it will be dynasty time. So, no matter what the Lakers, Celts et al. do, their efforts will be futile. Lebron, Amare, Mo, Z and crew will DESTROY the NBA for years to come, and I will sleep good............

You are definitely welcome aboard the Cavs bandwagon whether we get Amare or not :)

Let's be real here.. We don't even know for sure if Phoenix will be trading Amare and if they are, if it will be to us.. Even if Stoudemire does end up in Cleveland, we don't know what will happen with our team. So let's not predict anything as far as right now.. Just let the trade happen first and we can go on from there.

The trade is complete...or that is what is being said.

Amare will play his last game in as a Phoenix Sun tonight (all star game).

6 player deal...4 draft picks moving and cash.

How come nobody in the media is reporting this?

Is it possible for the biggest trade story in the NBA to be kept secret aside from some fan who supposedly has connections on some message board? There are dozens of high profile sports reporters covering this story, and this guy has the story and they don't???

He may end up in CLE, but come on, this deal isn't done yet. Common sense.

^You'd be surprised. I've seen several blockbuster trades leaked on boards days before the media knew about it.

Well, you have definitely never seen Heath being the one who leaked them...we are talking about guy who was assuring everyone last year that we were getting Shawn Marion while Ferry was working on the deal with the Bulls and the Sonics
