Good news for you then. Free Agency in the NFL starts in a hour. Tiger Woods just got back on the PGA tour. MLB Spring Training just started the other day. Ben Wallace always was the weakest link in the starting unit. I don't wish him to be out, but if so, he's the least person I'd be feared of going on without in the lineup. It's a long season and we're in great shape yet.

I think we should start JJ. AV is terrible as a starter

Drew had a monster game while not being 100% last game. Shame on the Cavs for getting rid of our 2nd best player and best big. No way they will waive a talent like Drew Gooden.

No, I just don't appreciate seeing him ripped off during his career here.

^There's no such thing as "being a fan of Drew Gooden." You're either his lover, his cousin, his brother, his parent or DG himself.

Sorry to hear the news for you guys...I've always like Big Ben's game, and always though we missed the boat on him in Washington. I think he is a bigger presence on the team than what many are giving him credit for, and I think he'll def be missed. Good luck on finding someone to replace him.

The CAVs will be O.K. just like they were when 'Z' got injured.

We are not talking about losing the Big Ben of his DPOY years either.

It gives JJ Hickson more playing time which might be a little painful on defense, but will pay bigger dividends in the future the more experience he get's now. We will see if a serviceable Big (Joe Smith I hope) gets a buyout before Monday...The sky's not falling.

Tough break (no pun intended) for you guys. This has just been a crappy all around season in the NBA with all these injuries, so hopefully that doesn't taint the playoffs too much.

Wouldn't Varejao step into his spot though? He seemed to be playing extremely well when Z went out, so I'm sure he'll step it up again. Fortunately, this is only one injury and you guys are good enough to deal with it I think, particularly since everyone else seems to be healthy.

Laker fan here, sorry to hear the bad news.
I hope he gets well, but I wouldnt count you guys out becasue of Wallace.
I think you guys will do just fine without him, and I hope he recovers soon.
Best of luck.

The playoffs are in 50 days.....Ben is out for 42 days....there is still a chance he can come back ready to contribute by the second round.

I think that the OP is just completely overreacting about yesterday's loss.. It was just one game. Big deal. We still have the 2nd best record in the East. However, losing Wallace does hurt the team but at least we will see more minutes for JJ and LeBron will probably have more minutes at the 4. We need to move on from that loss and simply prepare for the playoffs, which makes this road trip a test for us.

Apparently you didn't see us still win alot of games WITHOUT Z and West. No faith.
