LeBron shooting lights out from 3pt

Post#1 » by Manny Phresh » Tue Mar 3, 2009 6:14 pm

Ever since the Milwaukee game, LeBron has been stellar from 3pt range. I don't remember the percentage but I may of heard that he's shooting way above 50 % from 3pt range since that Milwaukee game. Can someone please find the stat, I wouldn't know where to start. Anyways, do you think that he'll continue shooting great from the three point line?

Alright, I decided to do the math here since I was bored. Since the Milwaukee game and including last night's Miami win, he has gone 22 for 41 on 3pt attempts. That is a 53% 3pt percentage. Thats pretty good. Last night he went 6 for 7 from three

I doubt it will continue, and if it does it will definitely end come playoff time

It's great to know that he is shooting a high percentage from 3.. But the thing I don't like about that is LeBron will fall in love with it and those percentages will eventually drop. That would also take away his inside game and he will be more perimeter oriented.. Basically, it is not very likely that LeBron will be able to keep it up.

It's crazy. Tonight LeBron was 4-5 from three. I hope he keeps it up through the playoffs.

He's shooting %34.2 right now! Kobe is %33.9, isn't it weird?

I noticed this also, since the all-star break he is shooting 41.2% from three. And he has been attempting one more per game, but shooting one less field goal per game, while averaging the same amount of points. So his TS% must have risen.
