If Steve Nash were available . . .

If the Suns were to terminate Steve Nash's contract early would you sign Steve Nash? If Nash would sign for the mid level exception, I would be all for it. There is talk that Nash would prefer to go back to Canada, but if he had a chance to win a championship with the Cavs that would be appealing. Even if Wally returns to the Cavs for cheap, the team could use another shooter to pair with Mo Williams. Obviously, improving the front line should be priority number one, however, it really depends on who is available.

I don't think that Nash is a good fit. Sure his shooting and playmaking would come in handy but really only if the Cavs get a different SG.

I'd be all for it. Nash is a legend who still has plenty of productivity left to give. I could even see us playing some small ball with a Nash/Mo back court that would cause fits for opposing teams.

I'm Canadian and I would love to see Nash in CLE or in Toronto, but he doesn't really fit in Cleveland. The Mo/Nash backcourt would be sick offense but terrible defense. And Nash in general is terrible defense. I'd prefer Kidd, even though he can't handle quick PGs anymore and isn't quite as gifted scoring the ball, he's a much better defender and a better passer in the half court.

I'm a Nash fan but Mo has earned the right to be the Cavs starting PG. Now Mo just needs to pick up his defense to the way he was playing earlier this year.

I would actually much rather try for Kidd. Better defender, chemistry with James, and is IMO a better player.
