LeBron's Having an April Fool's Day Party...in DC

Post#1 » by Gordon Bombay » Tue Mar 31, 2009 1:56 pm

http://voices.washingtonpost.com/dcsportsbog/2009/03/lebrons_having_a_party_in_dc.html?wprss=dcsportsbog

this should definitely be interesting. on one hand, i like the fact that lebron is basically announcing his arrival in the district "guns blazing style" (sticking both middle fingers in the air and making sure everyone knows he is doing it). but on the other hand, we've had about three games this season (miami, houston and washington) where the team partied hardcore the night before and we proceeded to play like absolute **** in the game.

i know getting drunk on wednesday night is very important to this team but i just hope they keep it moderation because we cant afford a loss right now - especially another loss to that disgrace of a team

Think of it this way, they've had alot fewer post party clunkers than they used to. Personally, I think it was because of Damon Jones and Larry Hughes being harder partiers than anyone currently on the team.

Horrible news. If this party is before the game we might lose the WIZ game and the Magic game. Stupid move LeBron.

Gulp.

This is never good news.

Maybe he is just pulling an April Fools Joke on all those LeBron haters over in DC and he's not really going to show. Now that would be hilarious.

I'm going!! The last couple of times I've seen LeBron party he never has a drink in his hand. He always has a bottled water. The other Cavs are a different story........

I already know of an after party that goes from 3 am to daylight :x

Park is the Wizards favorite nightclub. Usually the Wizards through parties there. I wonder if LeBron bought out their favorite nightclub to spite them? If the Wizards aren't there, then they'll be at LOVE.

I think its hilarious. Its only going to piss off wizards fans.

I really don't even care if we lose by 50 to them. That would be even better because they would get all hyped up for one night and the next day they would remember that they haven't even won 20 games yet this year

Lebron's Parties

Post#10 » by Notorious23 » Fri Apr 3, 2009 2:37 am

Ok so you're fighting to win a championship and hang on to HCA for the playoffs. What possible reason do you have to party? If you win the championship you will have months of partying to do that's only 2 months away. If your looking to throw a party to market yourself I can't think of any better way to market yourself than to win the championship. I know it's been a long season and you need breaks. But right before a game? Sometimes I wonder if Lebron is ready to be a champion or if he's still growing up.

Press Release 6/24/09

Come join Lebron James for an NBA Finals party the night before game 7. That's right the biggest super star in town will be throwing the biggest party in town. Come join him and the Cavaliers in downtown Los Angeles.

I want some god damn answers.

I hope Coach Brown is ripping a sink out of the visitors locker room right now screaming "I told you this would happen!"

Press Release 4/2/09

Come join Lebron James and the Cavaliers for an April 16th day party in Cleveland. There's absolutely no need for it but what else would you do on a Thursday right before playoffs? Come out and watch Lebron drink water while his teammates get hammered.

Ughh.....

Infinite might know of another 3 am to Daylight party they could hit up. They can just delay their flight til morning and fly to Orlando at 10. They should get in with a few hours to nap before happy hour.

Seriously they better make Orlando look like they have Washington's record tomorrow.

Party like a rockstar. I hate the built in excuse for the Cav loss, but as a Wiz fan, shoot, we'll take it, even if it jeopardizes the standings in the Tankstakes.
