how much will cavs/lakers finals tickets run?

Post#1 » by 2008 MVP » Sun Apr 19, 2009 3:05 pm

Hi guys, Laker fan here...i live in chicago and am expecting our teams to meet in the finals after both cruise through the playoffs. if we do in fact see lakers/cavs, i'd like to get tickets to a few games in cleveland since its a quick trip from chicago. any idea what these ticket prices will be? either way i know they'll be a hell of a lot cheaper than LA...
best of luck to you guys in the playoffs.

PS - Lebron is the MVP this year hands down, and i say that as a Kobe fan. but i cringe at Wade finishing ahead of Kobe. great stats on a bad team in a weak conference don't warrant an MVP vote (see Kobe during the Nash disgrace)

well our cheapest seats in the playoffs usually go for about 75 dollars in the playoffs or so...but thats a long way to go with a lot of basketball to be played - especially a gruelling series with orlando in the ecf and gettting through either dwade or the hawks in the semis

Doesn't matter becuase it's going to be an LA / Orlando finals. Boston was the only team in the east that can possibly beat us in a 7 game series if they had Garrnet. Cavs are a one man show....Easy win for Orlando.

Third warning for trolling the Cavs board. That sig is inherently trolling.

Maybe just maybe posters like Pitbulz will start to be more concerned with whether Orlando is overrated.

my preditions are as follows:

West
Rd1 Winners:
Lakers
Mavs
Rockets
Nuggets

Semi Winners
Lakers
Mavs

Lakers to the finals

East
Rd1 Winners:
Cavs
Magic (only 7 game series...)
Heat
Bulls

Semi Winners
Cavs
Magic

Cavs to the finals

we may be jumping the gun but the cavs and lakers are just too good this year. head and shoulders above everyone else. the magic are the only threat i see but i cant see them beating the cavs. home court advantage will be enough to fight them off.

You'll never be able to beat the scalpers on Ticketmaster and will have to pay hundreds on eBay for nosebleads.

I'm pulling for Cleveland as soon as Utah gets eliminated.

Drop in the bucket, last years at Staples, they fetched upward to $34,500 a seat, Will and Jada bought a pair at around $40K or so last year I think behind the backboard. Ridiculous...

Do you know what the Rocket's record is this season against the Lakers? And please do not throw that regular season records are meaningless. The Lakers are 12-1 against remaining likely opponents that includes the Cavs (14-1 if you include Boston).
