If only Atlanta would have won game 6, then Cavs would have been up 1-0 today. Oh well, now we have to wait until Tuesday for game 1. Here is the schedule:

Game 2: - Atlanta Hawks @ Cleveland Cavaliers, Thursday May 7th, 7:00 P.M, ESPN.
Game 3: - Cleveland Cavaliers @ Atlanta Hawks, Saturday May 9th, 8:00 P.M, ABC
Game 4: - Cleveland Cavaliers @ Atlanta Hawks, Monday May 11th, 7:00 P.M, TNT
Game 5: - Atlanta Hawks @ Cleveland Cavaliers, Wednesday May 13th, Time to be announced, TNT.**
Game 6: - Cleveland Cavaliers @ Atlanta Hawks, Friday May 15th, Time to be announced, ESPN.**
Game 7: - Atlanta Hawks @ Cleveland Cavaliers, Monday May 18th, 8:00 P.M, TNT.**
** - If necessary.

Cavs in 5, 6 at most. I wish we got to play Miami who I think would have been an easy sweep.

I just want fair officiating and i think it will be since Lebron is not a flopper like Wade... Lebron will get the calls, but the guy is a beast so you got to foul him.... The key to this series is Big Z for u guys , Hawks have nobody to match up with him.. If Marvin doesn't play than Lebron will go off...
Here is hoping that the Cavs get the "real" warmup unlike the Pistons....

as long as we dont switch mo williams onto jj every time down the floor (like what happened in the loss to atlanta in december), we should be good
the hawks play amazing in the atl tho, so it could be a tougher series than expected

The Cavaliers will sweep the hawks and I expect Lebron to bust out a at least 2 triple doubles in this series...

Should sticky this Outty.
Honestly, I expect the Cavs to win this in 4 games but it could go to 5-6 depending if they have any lackluster effort during any of the away games.

I wonder how Atlanta is going to play against you guys? They seem to be one of those teams to step up or down to their competition.

I question the Cavs ability to contain the Great Flip Murray

The Hawks are a pretty solid team, should be more fun to watch than Detroit.
Cavs in 4 or 5.

Call me crazy but I wouldn't be too shocked if it went to game 7 if the Hawks are healthy...You just never know with these Hawks. Safe pick would probably be Cavs in 5 or 6.

I do admit that the hawks are among the few teams that Cleveland have not been able to have won by more than double digits and have kept Lebeon below 50% from the floor this year...Lebron have not been able to score more than 28 points against the hawks this year....

He scored 33 in the only loss...

Seriously Marvin Williams is the one player that can and will give Lebron trouble in a one on one matchup defensively. MArvin Williams keeps Lebron in front of him but his fast enough to stop him from cutting to the basket. He is just as big as Lebron so he can't bully him aroundlik ehe does most players. I have seen every Hawks vs. Cavs game over the last 3 years. If Marvin is healthy don't expect a cake walk. But then again the refs will probably make sure Marvin fouls out although he rarely gets in foul trouble. I am dead serious people!!

Why are you coming to our thread with this kind of garbage??? He is hurt, probablly not to going to play through out the series, and if he did, he wouldn't be 100% healthy enough to stop little Kinsey let alone stop the future MVP Lebron James...
I love to see you hawks fans come on the the Cavaliers Theads to discuss the series match up and I very much looking forwards to it, but please come to us correct when trying to start a post on our thread....This is going to be a great match up between both teams and I don't really think that the Cavaliers are going to sweep the hawks to be serious about it, but M. William will not be the savior for the hawks this year...You would have done better talking about how the Cavs is going to stop Josh Howard when he is on his "A" game...Don't mean to be so harsh on you but sheeesssh!

Looking forward to the series Cleveland fans. I'm sure your teams well rested, but Atlanta will play as hard as possible, and hopefully at some point during the series Marvin will be healthy enough to play.
Cavs favored to win by 11.5 points. O/U 179.5

I like Marvin Williams as a player.. However, I think some Hawks fans could potentially fall into the trap of believing the same type of LeBron James will be attacking them during the playoffs..
Playoff-Bron is a much different attacker in the post season.. Marvin will not be getting rest on certain possessions, and he will also have to contend with guarding the post much more than he's used to when guarding LeBron..
