Wally World

Post#1 » by pad300 » Thu May 7, 2009 8:06 pm

Szczerbiak's a FA this summer.
1) Do you want him back?
2) If so, how much?
3) How much do you think he will get offered from other teams?
4) Assuming 1) is No, does Cleveland management feel they owe him (or just like him enough) to facilitate a S&T (using their bird rights) for a a nominal fee (say a TE and a late 2nd round pick)?

1. Yes but wouldnt be upset if he didnt
2. Around 3 million / yr for 2 years
3. About the same
4. We don't owe him anything, but a ST would make sense.

I would love to see Wally come back at a fair price (to him & the Cav's). He is the type of bench player that championship teams need. Can play the 2,3 or4 in small line-up. Wally is a good team player, likes it in Cleveland. Bring him back!!!

I'd bring him back for cheap. Considering what he's been getting paid the last few years, he should have no problem taking $2-3MM.

I would love to have Wally back at 2-3 million for 2 years. Guys plays hard at 3 positions and is an Ohio guy. Love having him on the team. Plus he gets me more riled up than Tractor Traylor used to waving that towel around.
Is Larry Hughes having fun yet?
