With all these talks on the Rockets board of Yao being moved, what are your opinions?

Won't happen and don't know if I would want it to happen.

Although the marketing machines would be in overdrive, the Cavs have ambitions to play into June during the LeBron era, and I just don't believe Yao has the physical capabilities of holding up...

Fantastic player who plays with a lot of heart, but I think someone with a little more athleticism would be the recipe for success in terms of the Cavs future...

Not in a million years.

What makes it interesting is that the Cavs would not really need Yao during the season to play big minutes. That being said, that's an awful lot to pay someone that you aren't guaranteeing that he'd be able to play.

I agree. We went thru this with Z already and once is enough. Yao is great but you cannot rely on him being healthy enough to make it work. Plus he makes Z look like Usain Bolt and everyone here already complains we're too slow up front.

LeBron and Yao in the same team! That'd be a marketing dream.

I wouldn't want it though. I love Yao but he's just too fragile and there's no way we're dropping Big Z. He'll be in that starting line up til he's 56 years old.

At 7'-6" with 8 years in the League not to mention all the time devoted to international ball there is alot of wear and tear already on Yao. Honestly I think he might be on the decline. Any team that acquires him would have to limit his minutes during the season so he still has something left in the tank for the playoffs. Not to mention Yao works best in a slower half court style offense.

Excellent points.

I can't see us spending that much on one guy unless he's durable.

If not Yao, somebody needs to come to cleveland for Lebron to stay. The team around him is horrible. No offense, but this is a team game, and lebron will get tired of scoring 60-70 points and losing. Trust me.

I love how people make one game become their sum total of knowledge regarding the team. First and foremost, LeBron has never scored 60-70 points because he actually passes the ball and trusts his teammates. That being said, they didn't lose very often this season and lost very infrequently when LeBron had high scoring games.

I've seen enough Cleveland games to know that other than Mo, most of the other players just stand around and wait for an open shot from lebron. I guess if you have someone like lebron on your team, the best option IS to give him the ball and let something happen. Also, I was joking about the scoring 60 pts a game, but it might get to a point (example Detroit series a couple of years back) where lebron will just take the ball every time b/c he can't trust his teammates and he's tired of losing. It worked that series but won't work every time.

Bench scored what....5 pts tonight. For a "championship team" that's unacceptable. I think the point of my previous post was: Get Lebron some real help. You don't even have to pull a boston and bet the farm b/c just one good piece and Lebron will lead Cle to many trophies.
