Actually i like the cav's and would be rooting for them to win it all if the magic wasnt in it because they are one of my favorite teams other than the magic.... but i call it like i see it and match up wise the only person we have to be concerned about with yall is Mr. Lebron James!!!! And he's going to be limited because he's not going 2 have the luxury of comming to the hole when he want because we do have the D.P.O.Y Mr. howard waiting on him.... we can live with Mr. James shooting and even if he goes off and get's 40 or 50 i dont see anybody else on the cav's roster to be concerned about and my friend he cant do it by his self no matter how many of you think he can!!! yea yall got moe williams skip will keep em in check, c lee gonna have west locked down, lebron can get his v.s. turk and be better if not its a shame, Varejao has no chace agianst lewis on either end, and Ilgauskas is a good player but cant handle dwight at all plus our bench is better!!!!

That Lewis-Varejao mismatch is quite nice. I can't see Varejao doing much on the other end as I think Howard will guard him. Ilgauskas may be guarded by Lewis at times and he can take advantage. Z will likely be told to stay out of the paint entirely and Howard will stay in there. It's going to have to be a rotation D for the Magic out to him. The two mismatches for the Magic are in the front court, outside of that I don't think Lee will do anything amazing against West. If anything try Pietrus attacking West if you're the Magic.

If the Magic pack the paint against LeBron they do stand a chance I suppose. Force Cleveland to play Joe Smith and give up their inside defense. Z on a pick-and-roll with Courtney Lee will be beat badly. Force the Cavaliers to adopt a defensive lineup in the front court increasing the pressure on LeBron with large long defenders. Also you could try to funnel him as the Lakers did twice. It works when you have great shot-blockers.

I'd like to see Brown stick Darnell Jackson on Howard in the second qtr to land some hard fouls on him. Darnell should ignore the whole game around him and just play dee on Howard over the whole court. Set screens, picks, box-out the hole time, whatever. He's got 6 to give. And who knows, Howard could pick up a couple of cheap ones in the process.

I expect a very competitive and entertaining series. Please forgive us Magic fans if we come across a bit bitter. What we don’t get is that we are as battle tested as you guys. I also understand that regular season is different than the playoffs but you just can’t ignore the fact that the Cavs had much harder time with us than any other teams. All the analysts call for us causing headaches for the Cavs but not enough for even one analyst to put us over. As great as Lebron is, there are 4 other players on the court. To completely write us off I think is just bad judgment. I will never doubt how great your team is and the possibilities are sky high but right now you still have to beat us 4 times.

If we do lose to you I will be whole heartedly cheering for you guys. Cavs are not as arrogant and cocky as the Celts were and I respect that.

Best of luck. Cheers

I'm not sure how you can argue that you are as battle tested as us, but okay.

Darnell Jackson has no business being in a playoff game. Ever.

If so then Howard better watchout for foul trouble. Andy draws lots of fouls on both sides of the ball, and when they run a pick and roll, Lebron will likely be a step ahead of howard, so he can draw fouls that way too.

I haven't looked, but I gotta think there are far more Magic fans on our board than Cavs fans on theirs. Pretty confident group for a team that got pushed by a Sixers team that barely beat our bench in a game they had to have and Cleveland couldn't have cared less about.

I still say the most important games are 2 and 3, not #1. I just don't see ORL being able to come back from being down 2-1, but if they are up 2-1 they've got a real good chance esp. if it's those two games as wins. It would still be nice to kick off the series with a nice home win though 8-)
It's not whether you win or lose, it's how good you look playing the game

^There are alot of Magic fans on RealGM. Actually outside of the Raptors, Bulls, Wiz, and maybe the Bucks, they have the largest grouping of fans on here.

Should make the playoff threads interesting!

that's because it's the only place for us to go to speak with others about our team. this town is still scarred from all the bad years we've had to endure. funny how i live in orlando and all my friends like other nba teams.
