You guys have Lebron Friggen James  ..Get out in the open court and push the ball...OMG :nonono: ..What a waste..How did this happen? ..Everything offensively for the cavs is so hard ..It's brutal to watch.

the way the Cavs have been built I guess so....But man ..Lebron in the open court running fastbreak after fastbreak would be unstopable..I dont understand the thinking.

I don't agree. Almost every Cav possession is built on Lebron creating shots for his teammates directly or indirectly. It looks really taxing on Lebron and in playoff series, a good defensive team should be able to severely limit the efficiency of such an offense. There is nobody else on the Cavs that can break down the defense or demands a double team in the post. And since you don't run, there are no chances to steal a few fastbreak points.

That's been the issue in the playoffs but that was most certainly not the case in the regular season. The offense in this series has regressed to Cavs circa 2006, when we were truly Lebron, Z, and a group of marginal bottom-of-the-roster filler.

uhhhh, what has changed since 06' still looks like Lebron and filler. I guess you could say Mo is the 2 option but would he be considered the 2nd best player on any of the teams left in the playoffs?

Mo is at least a capable starter, ditto Varejao, Z, and West. Sure Lebron makes them better, but they are far from stiffs. Mo Williams >>>>>>>>>>> Eric Snow, West>>>>>>>> any off guard the Cavs have had since the pre-Lebron Ricky Davis. This bench features several guys who could start on several other teams too--Pavs, Hickson in a year or two, Ben Wallace on a few. This Cavs team would sweep the Cavs team that made the finals no problem.

cavs are just lebron with garbage. you wont win a championship until you get a star next to lebron.

mo williams is a solid #3 option, but not going to cut it as lebrons #2. and ben wallace was a $15 million dollar mistake.

for as much talent lebron has, the team has been mismanaged. the fact that they got this far just shows how good lebron is.

The cavs style of play hasn't been that bad, atleast not nearly as bad as you think. Both teams in this series have given up way too many open looks, the difference being that the cavs haven't made their shots.

If mo and delonte can make their shots when they get them, then we can see the defense softening up a bit. The cavs are going no where with needing to score 40+ points just to keep it close.

Besides that, the magic have been shooting a ridiculous pct, the cavs need to stop doubling up on dwight, he's terrible when he does his duncan impersonation, seriously who does he think he is going across the lane for a hook shot, and even then in any case why not give up the two instead of the three and takes your chances.

Orlando pushes the ball and finds open shooters early in the shot clock...Cleveland doesnt...That's why the better roster is losing...t's a shame because Lebron is the perfect forward to stick in an uptempo philosophy...

In no way does Cleveland have the better roster. The talking heads have actually argued that Orlando has the best roster of the teams left in the playoffs. The actual difference is that Orlando is making their shots while Cleveland is not.

Lets be real here for a second. We are still one of the best teams in the NBA and did have the best offense in the NBA. The playoffs, however, are all about matchups and unfortunately Orlando is the one team that can flat out kill us. If Boston wins game 7 against Orlando then we roll through them and IMO roll through whoever comes out of the West. We still are an elite team despite the fact that we are losing to Orlando. Is there room for improvement? Of course, but lets not act like we arent still great to begin with.

The thing about matchups is that they go both ways, you just have to know how to utilize that. You have to play to the matchups in your favor. In this series for Cleveland, that is frontcourt toughness, rebounding, Z's midrange game, and using Lebron's size and strength on offense. Right now Orlando is doing a good job of keeping the Cavs from using those advantages, but Mike Brown has not tried well enough to exploit them either. Orlando is using the advantages they have--frontcourt quickness, multiple 3 pt shooters, size at 2-4--very well.

One of the things that always impressed me about Boston the last two years was that they knew how to turn the tables on matchup issues and play to their strengths. I've seen very little of that from Cleveland in this series. Give Doc Rivers this team and we just might be up 3-1. Heck we're only about 9" from that anyways...

THIS.

The matchups are terrible against ORL and they have been for the last few years. I think we would have had a better shot against a healthy BOS team rather than ORL as ridiculous as it sounds.

I knew once they beat BOS we were screwed. I thought we could squeek out the home games but ORL even beat us there..

Bad draw.

I tried to tell them this in the beginning of the season, Sid. I suggested that the Cavs needed to explore Ben Wallace/Fillers for Shawn Marion/Dorell Wright. They didn't like it very much and were kind of rude about it. Oh well.

Nope. You guys really miss Larry Hughes' defense and Drew Gooden's rebounding and post ability.

i know realfung personally, maybe he should go through both team's roster, just Maybe he can see

where the match-up problem is.

SVG? the god, not so much, credits to Orlando's GM to put together a great team.

agreed and I think it is killing me to see LBJ hogging the ball and tells all his teammates to just watch him.
Basketball playing with only one player and he DOES not trust his teammates. Yes, he doesn't trust them.
