It didn't end how we all dreamed, but it was still our most successful season in team history. I enjoyed the effort and passion they played with all year. Easily the most fun team in any of the Cleveland sports that I've had the chance to follow. Hopefully we get some things done this offseason and get a chance to finish what they started this year. There is a hundred threads here for anyone that cares to put this team down, so please keep it out of this one. It's about appreciating our team.

Expectations did not match up with reality. We do not have the post players to win a championship nor the head coach. Moving forward the team at least knows the positions we need to address. Moving Z and Varejao would be ideal in the offseason. I would not be opposed to bringing in another guy to coach the Cavs. That the Cavs were outcoached by Stan Van Gundy says quite a bit.

Looking at the team, they probably overachieved a bit during the regular season and where brought down to reality against the Magic. The Cavs should probably have been the 3rd seed while the Celtics #1 (w/healthy KG) and Orlando #2. I would like to say thank you, but this team did better last year forcing a game 7. That simply does not cut it for Cleveland basketball anymore.

I am overall appreciative that the Cavs can lose in the ECF and fans are no longer satisfied with how far we've gotten. The mindset of the Cavs is changing dramatically. A Championship is the next step. Hopefully we have another opportunity. The Magic, Celtics, Sixers, Blazers, Lakers, Nuggets, and Rockets will be pretty good next year and we all know nothing is guaranteed in the NBA. This offeseason is probably our most important.

I'm not sure how anyone can argue that the Cavs expectations didn't match up with reality. The Cavs won 76 games this season. If you somehow thought at the beginning of the season that they'd win more I'm completely shocked.

Greatest season we've ever had and it sure was a fun one. Didn't end the way we wanted, but I really think there's a lot of positives to take from it. Other than this last series the supporting cast for Lebron was very good, sadly nobody outside of NE OH will recognize that.

Who cares who won what in the regular season. The Cavs are not interested in being the Phoenix Suns. We shouldn't assume that we will always have these opportunities available to win an NBA title. The Cavs were in the NBA finals two years ago, went to Game 7 of the ECF last year, and lost in Game 6 of the ECF this year. How is that meeting expectations? Last year was actually more impressive as Pavlovic and Varejao were having contract disputes and the team had to adjust after the mid-season trade. This is a big off-season that will decide whether the Cavs will be contenders the next few years.
