Just seeing what you guys think: (salaries I think work just fine)

Golden State:
Give - Maggette
Get - Sasha Pavlovic, Daniel Gibson
Why - Dump Maggette's contract and attitude; Get an expiring contract in Pavs and a nice shooter in Gibson.

New Jersey:
Give - Vince Carter, Chris Douglas-Roberts
Get - Ben Wallace, J.J. Hickson
Why - Youth Bigman who is way more athletic then any of their bigs in J.J., and a huge expiring contract in Wallace. And allows the team to build around Harris and others and not worry about pleasing Carter.

Cleveland:
Give - Ben Wallace, J.J. Hickson, Sasha Pavovic, Daniel Gibson
Get- Vince Carter, Chris Douglas-Roberts, Corey Magette
Why - Get a legit (not iffy like Mo Williams) All-star SG trying to win a Championship before he retires in Carter, a guy who would be an all-star SF if he didn't have such an attitude problem (but i think can work with Coach Brown to improve) in Maggette to back up Lebron, and a young tall backup SG in Roberts (who might I add we looked at in last years draft.

Then after the trade let everyone else walk, resign Andy and use the MLE on Charlie Vilanueva. Now if possible try to sign Gortat, because I doubt he would be expensive.

Our line up:
Mo/West
Carter/Roberts/West
Lebron/Magette
Anderson/Charlie V/Darnell Jackson
Z/Gortat/Anderson

No we have height in the 2 guard in both Carter and Roberts to cover the Rashard Lewis' and Hedo Turkalou's and youth in the big men. And if Coach Brown is good for anything its bringing guys together to play well with each other which translates into good Defense.

What do you guys think. Possible? Good? Problems?

Dont do the maggette trade, get carter. Sign Rasheed instead of Villanueva.

Considering that just about every team in the league wants to sign Gortat for the MLE...

As for the trades - I only think we would need one of Carter or Maggette. And no way would the Nets trade Roberts as well.

Pretty much what's been said. The trade isn't good for the Nets. We would do it though. No to the Maggette part. And if you are signing Charlie V with the MLE, we can't sign Gortat also. Both will go for the MLE+.

Ok ya i didn't think Gortat would go for that much but ok. Thanks guys.
