JOEY GRAHAM????????
Im new here bt i play ball myself an know alot about it bt what do you guys think about Joey Graham?
From the sources i lookd at he's a strong defender and can play 3 or 4 bt nt a very good 3 point shooter bt he can hit the mid range shot consistently.

Re: JOEY GRAHAM????????
Vet min sign him up.
We could use him to defend the Rashard/Odom/Artest type players.

I would love Joey's toughness and perimeter D. He would be an underrated signing....

I don't know much about his game, but I certainly wouldn't want to spend our leftover MLE on him.

He would be a low risk signing for the vet minimum but my guess is the Cavs have a few guys rated higher than Joey at this point.

You guys remember his twin bro played for us, right? Stephen, I think. Didn't play much for us, but I remember seeing his twin, Joey, in TOR or maybe IND(?) back then, and thinking, damn, if he was as good as his brother he could really help us. Of course, we were a different team back then, but I'd sign him if all else fails.

He brother Stephen did play for us and sucked it up....But he has always been better and used to start for toronto. I honestly think Parker may have originally stole his job...but anyway I think there is better out there but he could help...he is better then Sasha and parker is better then wally so I guess we would of upgraded both positions with him. Barnes and Kleiza tho are way better.
"Shaqtastic. 24 points." "Where'd you get so many Q's?" (With a stern scary look) "Don't worry about it..."

Re: JOEY GRAHAM????????
I hated Joey in Toronto, but as a short PF playing with Shaq and James, I think he would work well. With Varejao and Zydrunas still needing minutes, there shouldn't be too much playing time available, but he's a decent enough end of the bench guy as long as you're not counting on him to score. He should definitely help against Orlando.

Raps Fan here,
Joey isn't a very good defender, he has the ability to guard big people because of his size but his overall defense isn't all that good.
Graham's mid range jumpshots aren't that good either, he doesn't use his size, unlike LeBron.
and one really bad habit of his is that he falls in love with that jumpshot he barely makes.
If ur gonna get Joey Graham, good luck with him

Re: JOEY GRAHAM????????
To be fair to Joey, he didn't get a fair chance in Toronto until the end. I think Joey will be much better player playing along side Lebron. Joey plays best inside, but his midrange game is money...on the defensive he does much better job defending bigger forwards like Rashard Lewis, Hedo, Marvin William, etc than Paul Pierce, Carter, Iggy, etc.If you guys can sign Barnes to play either the sg/sf, you guys can contend for the..
This is good mix
C- Shaq
PF- Joey Graham/varejo
SF- Lebron
SG- Barnes/West
PG- Mo William

I don't know what Raptor games you have been watching, but Joey strength is his mid range jumpshot..his free throw shooting and his inside game..his weakness is his lateral quickness, ball handling and confidence or lack basketball IQ.

Re: JOEY GRAHAM????????
This scouting report is pretty close to Joeys description..
Pros: Athletic big man that can play tough on the boards and also shoot the mid-to-long range jumper. He plays hard and is a solid defender. He protects the ball well off the glass and has good rebounding fundementals. Holds the experience edge over most players in the draft with four years in college. Seen as NBA ready.
Cons: Draft stock has been falling after less than spectacular end to his season. Isn't quick enough to defend smaller players at the three in the NBA. His ball handling skills are a work in progress and his court vision could use some improvement.

Re: JOEY GRAHAM????????
Let's just say, Joey's at his best when it benefits him. He seems like he's completely clueless out there when his position is safe but when someone is infringing on his minutes he becomes one of the better players on the team.

Kleiza and Barnes would be excellent complements to the team. They both have a lot of intangibles and don't require the ball in their hands as most do. At this point, I would try to sign both if i could. Kleiza might demand most of the remaining MLE though.

Please sign him so I don't have to read anymore threads on the raptors forum regarding bringing him back. I absolutely cringe when this poor excuse for a basketball player touches the ball...
