I think Andy can play center so I'm not that worried. I assume we will at minimum re-sign someone like Joe Smith to solidify the PF spot (preferably someone better)

Since both Anthony Parker and Lebron can play PG, I don't think a 3rd PG is a huge need, but we can probably pick up someone like Jason Hart or similar for the vet min.

Yes, it's been emphasized enough that we need a PF. And like BB said, we don't need another PG since Mo will be playing 35+ minutes at the position and LeBron and Parker can play the point.

If you wanna tlk about a power foward i say bring in Drew Gooden or Donyell Marshall. they both have experience and they have played for the cavs so the chemistry should work just fine.Bcuz there are no more good stretch forwards in free agents unless a miracle hapens and we sign lamar odom, big baby or trade for carlos boozer! The cavs should du wat boston does da whole team should meet with the players at least it will let them know they are really wantd!

Did you just say to bring in Donyell? He was done when we last got rid of him

We should bring in Marcus Williams as our back up PG. Have no clue why no one ever gives this kid a descent chance.

You are too desperate.. Gooden and Hot Donny are never going to wear a Cavs uniform again.

Apparently they aren't that interested in having their laptops stolen.....

But really though, his 17 assists a few days ago were pretty impressive. It's only summer league...but still. He may end up playing for the Grizz this upcoming season, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to give him an offer. I don't really know how much playing time he'd get though. There are like 5 players in the rotation that can play PG, I guess he could get garbage minutes at the end of blowouts but meh.

^Windhorst (Cavs beat writer) already shot the Boozer rumor down. Said we weren't going after him.

West is our backup PG, especially now that we have a legit SG, Parker, to come off the bench.
Well at least we're not Detroit!

I think we need to still go after Klieza, or now maybe Thomas both some good verteran backup to play with the second team behind andy...if not resign Joe Smith for the vet minimum, which if I am correct means we can go over the cap to resign him. The with whats left get matt barnes or maybe grant hill. You could never have to many swing men who can all play the 2, 3 or 4 in Parker, Barnes and Lebron. I think resigning JOe and getting Barnes would seal up the off season.

Mo/Boobie
West/Parker/Kinsey
Lebron/Barnes/Jawad
AV/Smith/JJ
Shaq/Z/Dj
"Shaqtastic. 24 points." "Where'd you get so many Q's?" (With a stern scary look) "Don't worry about it..."

The Cavs should pursue Boozer. It is a low risk move. Basketball is a business and whatever happened in the past should not overshadow the Cavs pursuing Boozer if he is available. Bring in the best players available and try to win a championship.

I am in the please don't bring in Tim Thomas camp. He has never been all that productive of a player. I think there are other guys that can meet the needs of the Cavs.
