What can we get for him? I think we need a new PF/C the most, we also back up SF/SG.

He isn't going to be traded, he's an important part of the team.
Ideally he's the perfect 3rd guard. Now with Williams, West and Parker we have a very strong guard rotation.
Moon completes our swingman rotation so, if we get him, I don't see a need there. Obviously we have more than enough C to cover us for this year.
I would love to upgrade the PF spot, but worst case we need to rely on Hickson or Jackson for depth. Hickson was a first round pick, he's supposed to be able to fill that role.

I know you guys aren't trading him, but I think his value is roughly a middle 1st round pick. Doubt you would get an allstar unless it's one on a decline or it's one of those crazy fire sales. Perfect 3rd guard though. I didn't think he was starter material last year, ONLY because of his size. As a 3rd guard who can play both point and shooting guard that would be valuable on the open trade market.

He's a great role player and his value is only high on a contender team.

I hate seeing fans of other teams talk trying to convince us that we overvalue him. Good, we aren't trading him for your crap and you shouldn't care because he isn't all that good to you. I love Delonte. He plays full on all the time.

Even undersized, he was a top 5-7 defender at the 2 position last year.

Assuming he's the third guard off the bench, might as well keep him. Not like he's going to return a big man better than Frye/May/etc... He holds more value to the Cavs as a player than a trade piece. Hickson seems to be the only Cav who COULD hold more value as a trade asset. Just like with the Blazers potential though, he'll either quickly prove to be worth way more than his contract or little more than a mid round pick as a low risk high reward type guy.

Frye/May? Are you kidding me? He's got way more value (to us at the very least) than those guys. The Cavs won't be trading him at all. He really did give the team alot more heart than they'd had previously. I really don't think most of you saw what he does for the Cavs team. Sure, his height makes me want us to get someone who is a true 2 guard to play the position, but he's such a great glue guy that I think this team would be lesser without him.

Did you read my post? That's why I said you might as well keep him. Of course he has more value than that, but he's not going to get a much better big man (though he should). That's why I said you might as well keep him. He has more value as a player than asset, imo.
