For some reason I can't explain, Tarence Kinsey was waived today. What do you guys think? I think we should have kept him since he was so cheap, but does anyone else think we're going to use his roster spot for someone?

Did not stand out in Summer League, looked rather pedestrian actually. Can understand, but lets ee what else they do.

I'm pretty sure he was cut around this same time last year as well.

Kinsey was a great guy, great athlete and an underrated defender. You can't find a better guy for his price anyway.

Kinsey did scrub up summer league.

I was hoping though we could use his non-guaranteed contract in a deal somewhere, but I guess it was too low to have any real value in a trade.

This was expected.. He had no assists in 100 something minutes in the summer league. Good riddance.

Not surprising since he barely played much with the Cavs along with the moves the Cavs made which made Kinsey expendible. Good luck to him in the future.

When you're the last guy on the roster and you get popped for a DUI, you can probably guess this might be coming. I like TK, though. Maybe he'll be back.

Probably this. After hearing about the DUI, I was wondering when the inevitable waiving was going to come.

I believe it was the day before we traded for Shaq.

Dang. Obviously that didn't make the news too much. I believe that Kinsey has something to offer to a team. He won't be an all star to the nature. He can contribute if given the time wit the right team. Maybe the next one will be able to give him that chance.
