Optimistic about the year.

Post#1 » by wallsfamily » Mon Aug 17, 2009 2:33 pm

Guys I know it is just a game but the new Cavaliers are hard to beat in NBA 2K9. I made the trades and Parker and Moon give us the versatility to play anybody In addition, the multiple ball handlers and shooters cause the other team various matchup problems. Parker, Gibson, Williams and West are stroking threes and with the depth on the perimeter I press most of the game. Rebounding is great because of Moon's length and the athleticism means that the Cavs will run more and more.

I love how people think that the game is only played on the offensive end

Outlaw the strength of coach brown and his system is defense. With the new length and athleticism we should be able to beat any team now. What I was getting at guys is the versatility of the lineups and the use of James in multiple situations. In addition parkers shooting allows him to play with Shaq in the 3rd quarter with Williams West and Varejoe and allows LeBron some rest. James can then come in with Gibson Moon, Z and Hickson to play rested minutes against teams. This is going to be a great year!

I agree that it's going to be a great year but come on now, let's be realistic. LeBron is basically unstoppable in 2K9... Mo, West, and Parker is money with their shots. Shaq and Z are beasts in the paint. Hopefully, it will be the same as it is in real life.

According to video games the Browns, Buckeyes, and Cavs will win the championship every year.

Thats what I a was about to say. Once again it is about the versatility on offense and defense and the ability to throw multiple players at teams in order to cause mismatches.

That's what I do. Z starts next to Shaq and is averaging close to 18pts and 9rbs in 25mpg.....he's simply beasting it.
