Rashad McCants

Post#1 » by infinite11285 » Thu Sep 10, 2009 3:42 pm

Do we have the cap space to offer McCants a contract? He's not under contract right now and his youth and athleticism could come in handy with us. Frankly, he's better than both Parker and Moon (possibly even West due to his size) so why not?

McCants is not better than West or Parker.. Especially within the frame work of a team concept.. He's an immature malcontent.. There's a reason why teams weren't jumping to sign him..

I'd still rather have McCants than Boobie....but that isn't feasible. McCants could fit the Kinsey role at least :-?

I think he would do more harm than good. Like LH stated, there is a reason nobody has signed him.

I marvel at how little respect West gets from Cavs fans.

West is indeed severely underrated. Two years in a row in the playoffs when things got rough, he is the only one who stepped it up...he did it against BOS and this year against ORL when everyone other than Lebron looked scared.

No way I'd take McCants over him.

We have too many 2's already also, between West/Moon/Parker/Green and Gibson that's alot of guards. He would never sign here because he knows he wouldn't get PT.

Not to mention West is probably our most consistent shooter.

I like the way things are.. And I am sure McCants wants to get a lot of PT. That won't happen here.

McCants is talented, but he's an absolute headcase and he has never shown that he's going to fufill his potential.

He's not a guy a team like the Cavs go after right now. Bad idea.
