Who Steps Up?
I think it is a given that Delonte will be suspended for some length of time. Say he is out for 10 games, who steps up? Parker would be the obvious choice to start, but after that, who will it be. I either see Gibson taking the minutes if he is knocking down shots, otherwise I could see Danny Green getting some early PT. Thoughts?
Well at least we're not Detroit!

I doubt West will get more then 5 games, if even that. Anywho, put Parker in West's place and divide the remaining minutes amongst Green and Moon.

We're stacked and we have LeBron. Missing one player should never be an issue.

I don't think it will be an issue. My point was that someone would be getting West's minutes, so who do you think that would be?

I'd be shocked if Delonte missed more than 5 games. I think the likely outcome is that he gets no suspension at all.

Re: Who Steps Up?
With guys like Moon and Parker here, I just don't see Green getting much time out there unless he really blows away the coaching staff with hustle and smart play..
Coach is more than hesitant to play these young guys significant minutes.
I think Moon plays more in the 2guard role due to defensive matchups.. He and Bron will provide a tough, long, defensive backcourt when played together along the perimeter.. He's obviously not going to give you much in the halfcourt on offense, but he can occasionally spot up, and he's a fantastic transition player--
Apparently Moon has a tendency to Larry Hughes' it out there from time to time in terms of poor shot selection, so that will have to be something that will have to get in check pretty quickly..
I like his versatility however, and I love the fact that he has the ability to block shots, gets deflections and steals.. That really gives the Cavs a tough defensive minded perimeter from the wings, and I love that..
Not gonna lie, i really love our moves this year... But I'm actually more excited with guys like Moon and Parker, and the fact that they have the potential to bring those "little things" to the table that are essential for winning... All the while not losing anything, and also adding Shaq in the mix, with an outside shot of getting some toughness from Powe as a nice shot in the arm come all star time...
I think Ferry has done a wonderful job this off season, and has really gotten a lot out of his resources... My only complaint thus far is not getting anything to help with the 1st round pick, especially with what appeared to be some nice talent left... I would have really liked a piece like DaJaun Blair to add to this mix...

Re: Who Steps Up?
I am in the group who thinks Delonte might not even be suspended at all, maybe 2-5 games at most...
But with Parker/Moon/Green we should be able to cover for him without too many problems.
Also I agree with L&H we needed to get something to contribute this year with the 1st rounder - some decent talent on board still, but Eyenga looks to have some talent so that pick might pay off down the line.
