LeBron is the 2nd best player in the NBA?

That's just silly. He's easily number 1 and I don't think there is a close 2nd.

PS - LMFAO @ Shaq being #16.

Meh. Personally I could care less if LeBron is #1 or #2. It was nice to see LBJ win the MVP trophy last season but at this point I'm only interested in seeing this team win a ring.

Agreed. Who cares who is #1 or #2 blah blah blah.

Lebron needs to bring us home a ring, that should be the only concern.

Without looking at the list, if LBJ is #2 and Shaq is #16, that means Mo is somewhere in the #8-12 range, right?
Well at least we're not Detroit!

Not sure why this needed to be here but I could care less what others think of LeBrons position in the NBA. I think he's the best but if he's second that's okay too. He clearly is the straw that stirs the drink for the Cavs.

When everyone was saying LeBron was the best player in the league last year, I could not have cared any less... If they told me LeBron was the 4th best player in the league this year, I could not care any less..

Bottom line is this in regards to Kobe... Kobe is playing with a stacked team, which generates a lot of success, thus makes the game easy for him... We all saw what Kobe's game was really about in 2004, 2005, 2006 etc.. He was far from a great teammate, he was far from playing a winning brand of ball, he was far from being a leader...He gets a dominant front court, which takes a ton of pressure off him and he all of sudden is a changed player.. It's pretty obvious..

You can make a case that guys like Wade and Melo are playing on the same level of Bron and Kobe... Put in any order you want, I don't care.. I haven't visited the player comparison board in over 2 years on this site... lol

You don't have to go to the Player Comparison board the Kobephiles tend to infiltrate the General Board for anything that they can say either positive about Kobe or negative about LeBron.

A kobe fanboy will think the same exact thing as you but about Lebron. Only the fanboys think bias is a one way street.

Lebron is clearly number one and Kevin Garnett shouldn't be on the line waiting outside the club for the chance of getting into that list.

Oh no doubt there are LeBron fans on the general board but the vast majority of them are no Cavs fans and most don't post over here at all.

It's funny because the topics regarding LeBron are usually pretty negative on the GB and the Kobe topics are usually slurping on him..

That goes with the territory, Kobe used to be hated on constantly when he was the best player in the league and an egocentric douche. That's just how it works, plenty of people hated Jordan before he started winning his rings.

Jordan never demonstrated the immaturity or lack of class that Lebron is becoming famous for!

LeBron is the best player in the NBA. He's the most well rounded player he can attack at will, he's a decent enough shooter, he's a decent defender, can rebound well and is a great passer. There is no player in the game better than him right now.
much respect to the 2011-2012 champions, Miami Heat, well deserved

Lebron has a lot to prove before he is even considered to be top 5. So far he's not. Only Cav fans consider him the best player in the league. Outside of Cleveland he's just Lebron.

1. Kobe
2. Wade
3. Melo
4. Howard
5. K.G

That's flat out not true, and I have no idea where the nonsense that Howard or Melo are better than LeBron came from. That's the product of a seriously deluded brain.
