Trade LeBron & Shaq

Post#1 » by heathmalc » Wed Dec 9, 2009 8:16 pm

The city of Cleveland has coddled LeBron, and given him everything he's asked for, that we could give him. His "boys" get free jet rides, free luxury suites; his Mom gets free everything, everything he asks for....he has got.

But what has he given us, except more heart-break?

I say screw his ass...Trade him to a team with a lot of young talent and high draft picks, then trade all of our expirings for more talent, then use the rest of this season to get everyone on the same page, then win the ring next year, while LeBon watches from his new city.

LeBron isn't a leader...he's a young punk, who cannot even beat the worst teams in the league...Washington, Charlotte, Memphis..... and more are sure to come.

You had little to no credibility to me prior to this thread, now you are just being ridiculous.
Well at least we're not Detroit!

Come on now Heath. Don't jump ship at the first sign of some trouble.

If you want an easy and pain free ride hop on the Lakers bandwagon, otherwise suck it up and deal with it like the rest of us.

What's up Heath?

Did the Memphis game blow your prediction that the Cavs would go 77-5 or something? :D

Or is this just a prelude to a whole new line of trade proposals?

Well, let's set some ground rules before you start bugging all the fans on the other boards. First off, the team in question can't give up so much talent that it hurts their team, or else LeBron will never agree to re-sign with them.

So basically we'd need to trade LeBron and Shaq for a young SF and a young C. Perhaps Philly would send us Iguodala, Dalembert and next years pick; but that'd just swap our roles, and LeBron would never re-sign with them. The other important factor is that we need to get at least $200m back in the deal to make up for the franchise's plummet in value if LeBron leaves, but unfortunately teams can only offer $3m.

Honestly he has a point somewhere in there, but trading LeBron is just crazy talk.

IMO Lebron still has alot of growing up to do.
