mo williams out 6 weeks what now?

Post#1 » by Canomad » Thu Jan 21, 2010 10:50 pm

do the cavs try and make a move for a guard now that mo is out for 6 weeks? do we insert delonte as the starting pg? do we still focus on adding a big man before the trade deadline? ahhh this makes me sad i love mo!

It just means that Boobie will have to come out of Mike Brown's Dog House.

Chill out it's 4-6 weeks. Alot of that will be broken up by the All Star Game and luckily the Cavs will be playing a ton of home games during this stretch. Time to see what Delonte and Boobie can bring to the table.

Yup, it means that Gibson is back to getting regular minutes and hopefully he's bringing his shot with him. With any luck, Moon will be back soon.

Could be alot worse. 4-6 weeks puts him back before the playoffs.

We have alot of guys who can run the point - Delonte, Gibson, Lebron - maybe not as well as Mo, but we can survive it. Helps that the AS break eats up some of that time and we have alot of home games / time between games.

I think it hurts us in terms of getting HCA over the Lakers, but we should be able to stay in the top 3 in the East record wise at least.

Definitely sucks though...

the moon injury dont really bother me jawad has been doing a solid job. i forgot about the allstar break and espn did say 4 to 6 weeks so it might not be the full 6 weeks and its on his left shoulder. i believe hes right handed. i expect to lebron to be doing alot more within these next few weeks though. cant forget about powe comming back here soon thats a nice little plus for the cavs also.

Sucks, but it's not that bad considering we don't have a lot of games coming up within the time period that Mo Gotti is out.. Plus, most of the games we do have are at home since we've played 25 roadies already... If there is/was a time for this to happen, I suppose now is the best time... Still sucks though..

IMO, you should hope it doesn't linger him, more of then he will be back, the Cavs are gonna be fine for the weeks he's not able to play.

Do Parker's mins go up. He has little to no fantasy value this year. Does he have fantasy value for the next 4-6 weeks

Also - interestingly, last year with the raps when Calderone was injured and they didn't have a back-up PG, Parker played PG for I believe a dozen games or so and had his best stats in his career at the time. He is a good ball handler with good vision and with his height on the perimeter - his passing inside as an advantage over gibson and west. I see Parker as a less skilled and able Jalen Rose and when needed Jalen played point. Jalen and Parker are probably are the same height as well. I guess wwith Lebron - doesn't really matter anyhow whose playing pg but w Parker at pg CAVs could have a very tall and big line-up

West's finger is officially broken. He will not play Saturday, and they will not know more until the swelling has gone down.
Well at least we're not Detroit!

Other than LeBron we have no ball handlers. Boobie is a nightmare. We're screwed. LeBron should do it all as a PG!

At least it won't be long. The question now is who will be the PG?

Maybe we should get Sundiatta Gaines!!! No Boobie can handle it. We went to the finals with him playing big minutes as a rookie and now we have a much better team. It is our year.

man that hit me so hard when he made that shot, because of how beastly lebron was in the 4th quarter.

Let's not talk about that shot... Ever again. >.<

He hasn't been impressive lately, so I won't be surprised to see him out of Utah soon.
