Post#1 » by B Mac » Wed Feb 17, 2010 11:49 pm

It might not be what we all hoped for but this is still a HUGE pickup.

Welcome aboard Antawn!

Wojnarwoski says on twitter that theclips are 3rd team

"Cleveland, Washington and the Clippers have completed a three-team trade, sources tell Y! Sports"

UPDATE: again from Wojnarwoski

Cavs get Jamison and Telfair, Clippers get Drew Gooden and Wash gets Illgauskas, Al Thornton and Brian Skinner and Cavs 1st round pick"

So I'm guessing that Phoenix didn't wanna trade Amare, so we went for Jamison?

Good trade for you guys, and didn't have to give up a lot. I bet Kerr was asking for an arm and a leg.

I think the Cavs didn't want to part with Hickson and/or the Suns got a better deal from the Heat.

Disappointed about Amar'e.

I'm a little concerned about Twan's age and contract but at least we get to keep JJ and Danny Green. Jamison should definitely help this post season. He should be a nice fit next to Shaq and Lebron. Hopefully he can stay somewhat productive the next few seasons.

Overall it's a good deal. Way to go Ferry!

I can honestly say that I am content with this.. However, if Amare goes to Miami, I will be pissed. Also, we need to know if Z will get a buyout from Washington.

Id rather do Wally for Mike Miller since Washington is dumping everyone else.

so are most of you guys happy you got jamison or upset you didn't get Amare?

As a Knicks fan I am happy you guys got Jamison, I feel this gives the Knicks a chance to lure Lebron because Jamison will be 34 years old when the NBA Finals start this year and 35 years old next year. Next year Lee, gallinari, Chandler all 3 of those guys could be a 35 year old Jamison's equal or even surpass Antawn. His 82games.com numbers are not that good, he's pretty weak defensively and not as efficient of a scorer as our guys.

Good thing Jamison's game isn't based on athleticism.
Well at least we're not Detroit!
