______________Fast Facts______________

* At 43-14 (.754), the Cleveland Cavaliers have the NBA’s best record and hold the second-best point differential in the league at +6.6 (L.A. Lakers, +6.7). The team is 17-6 (.739) in 2010, which trails only the Utah Jazz (18-5) for the best mark in that span. The Cavs are 23-8 (.742) against teams that were at least .500 the day of the game and in New Orleans will face their fourth of six consecutive opponents that are at least .500. The Cavs will face the Hornets for the first time this season and they are one of two teams (San Antonio) the Cavs haven’t faced yet.

* The Cavaliers are 24-4 (.857) at Quicken Loans Arena, which is the best home record in the NBA. After having the best home record last season at 39-2 (.951), the team is trying to become only the 14th team in NBA history and seventh in the last 35 years to hold the best home record in consecutive seasons.

* The Cavs are 19-6 (.760) against the Western Conference this season, including a perfect 9-0 against the Pacific Division and 11-1 (.917) against Western opponents at The Q. No team has been better against the opposite conference since the beginning of last season than the Cavaliers, who have gone 45-10 (.818). Since 2007-08, LeBron James holds the Eastern Conference’s highest scoring average against the West at 28.9 ppg (2,400 points in 83 games).

* Against the Magic, LeBron James tallied 33 points, nine rebounds, six assists and two steals. With his fourth rebound of the game, James surpassed John ―Hot Rod‖ Williams (3,049 rebs) for third place all-time in defensive rebounds. He currently stands at 3,054 defensive rebounds. For the month of February, he has averaged 10.6 assists, which is third to Deron Williams and Steve Nash, both at 11.8 apg. James has at least one steal in 18 straight games since Jan. 11, which is the longest active streak in the NBA, and has averaged 2.2 steals in that span. He is the only player to have at least 400 rebs, 475 assts, 75 stls and 50 blks this season.

* This season, James is averaging a league-leading 30.0 points, 7.1 rebounds, 8.4 assists (6th), 1.0 block and 1.7 steals. He could average 30 pts-7 rebs-8 assts mark for the first time in his career. Only Oscar Robertson (five seasons: 1960, 1961, 1963, 1964, 1965) and most recently Michael Jordan (1988: 32.0 ppg-8.0 rpg-8.0 apg) have ever reached those marks in NBA history. (Elias)

* Against the Magic, Shaquille O'Neal scored 20 points and added five rebounds and two blocks in 31 minutes. He made 9-10 (.900) field-goal attempts, including his first eight of the game. It was his highest field-goal percentage in one game over the past four seasons (minimum: 10 FGA) and he ranks tenth in the NBA in field goal percentage at .558 this season. In the third quarter, O’Neal also recorded his 3,000th assist, becoming only the ninth center to total 3,000 career assists. Over the last 16 contests, he is averaging 15.1 points on .636 shooting, 6.4 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.3 blocks in 25.4 minutes per game.

* Antawn Jamison will play in first home game as a Cavalier tonight versus New Orleans. In his second game as a Cavalier at Orlando, Jamison scored 19 points on 9-14 (.643) shooting, pulled down eight rebounds and added one block and one steal each.

* Cleveland allows the fourth-lowest opponent field goal percentage at .438 and allows the third-fewest points per game in the league at 95.0. The Cavs give up the fewest points in the paint at 35.4 and has held the advantage in the paint in 40 of 57 games and is now 38-9 (.809) when they have equal or more points in the paint than their opponent.

* Offensively, Cleveland ranks second in the NBA in offensive field goal percentage at .485 and have outshot opponents in a league-leading 43 games this season. The Cavs ranks second in three-point shooting in the NBA, shooting .399 from deep.

Don't seem like it. They're too focused on Shaq, Jamison, and LeBron.
